  • wtf is that the gear stick?! havent seen one before! i feel noob!

  • not a shocker a prius doesnt go over 63mph when you floor it. wana go green people? go crush a prius god will thank you

  • TOYOTA IS BIGGEST CAR MANUFACTURE WITH BEST CARS AND IDIOTS WHO CANNOT STOP CAR ARE IDIOTS :)

  • @TheXANTRO

I have a sucker for you too. It's cherry.

  • I still don't understand why people buy hybrids. Diesel engines are the way to go,they get better gas mileage than hybrids, diesel fuel is cheaper (at least in Europe), they have a lot of torque and last way longer than hybrids.....

  • @CrashJSTest The prius is one of the gayest, ugliest cars on the road today. I would be caught dead driving one. There shouldn't be a plural word for prius, in fact, there shouldn't even be a singular prius. Look at all of the crap that goes on just because of this stupid little car that resembles a hamster with down syndrome and creates an audience of uninformed, stuck up pricks!

  • @CrashJSTest Prii? That sounds so gay and japanese! OH HERRO PRIIZZ!!! =O

  • The concept of neutral is lost on most younger people. All us old people who learned to drive stick shifts understood neutral and what it means and does.

  • Wow, a simple way to stop a run-away prius. The dude from CA could have done that.

  • buy a diesel that will do the same mpg

  • Your right. Reducing CO2 is one benefit. But the reason I hate prius drivers is because they think they are better than everybody else because they drive one. They think they deserve credit for saving the world. I don't hate on Japanese cars because they are foreign. I hate toyota because they are an untruthful company now. They used to be a great company and make the best cars. But now their cars have so many issues and they wont take responsibility for it. They blame the owners instead.

  • if your a tree loving bisexual and feel the need to waste money on a hybrid at least buy the Tahoe Hybrid, Im more than happy with my Sierra with my 5.7L V8, I give it extra gas when around hybrids to show them what they are missing

  • why would you buy a prius?

  • @outdoorsman310 Because it's a damn good car. And Prius is one of the best selling car in the world.

  • @Sitti2300 no

  • @Sitti2300 yeah it's also a homo car a tampon on wheels

  • @outdoorsman310 exactly

  • Shit**

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup get over yourself hahaha!!! Waste of space , reading online doesnt go for shit, products can look perfect on paper or your screen but it's nothing compared to how it actually operates, for instance if you buy a brand new car and in the book it says it has 250hp guaranteed when you take it to a tuner shop and have it tested it will not be 250hp and all this shut about a .45 stfu your nothing but a little bitch trying to make yourself look tough , try waking up ;) over and out f

  • that was floored? thats slow.

  • @automotiveDIY and a prius is sold as a 'fast' car? lol.

  • When the car accelerates by itself, the computer is malfunctioning and since its a crappy car and everything is electronic including the shifter, you can not take it out of drive. And as of the floor mat issue, why don't you tree hugging hippies buy a car with enough power so you don't have to floor it just to keep up with traffic. FACT: hybrids are actually worse for the environment. Batteries are not environmentally friendly. Its worse than just buying a normal gas car. Get your facts straight

  • @chorstma44 I think you need to get your facts straight and learn about how they make the batteries and recycle them and the plant that build the prius. Maybe you would learn something...maybe.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup Batteries arent environmentally friendly. And hybrid is a porr investment. Firs off, they cost more because of all the components. But you do save a little on gas. Say you save $1,000 in gas per year. After 5 years, youve saved $5k. But then you could have also gotten a normal car for 10 grand less. And after 5-8 years you have to replace all fo the batteries which costs over 5 grand. What did you save? Nothing

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup Your not worth wasting my time to do research. Point is, I am an american. I buy american cars. I actually support my country by buying american made products. I am also a man. You wont see me driving around in some faggot tree hugger prius. I'm puzzled as to why you are defending such a horrible little car. Unless you are one of the many ignorant toyota owners that refuse to believe anything negative about toyota's. Foreign products are the cause of our shitty economy

  • @chorstma44 I can see that you don't like to do research which is blatantly obvious, you loves yourself some ignorance. Whatever your not worth anymore of my time.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup Yeah sure. Well I can see you have nothing better to do than argue online. Well have fun. Go drive your little prius! I'll be sure to ram it with my truck

  • @chorstma44 I don't have a prius, its just I actually read and know facts about of vehicles. Unlike you who bashes a car and gets every single fact wrong in the process.

  • @chorstma44 You don't seem to realize that Japanese auto companies make contributions to the U.S. a lot more than any of Big Three. Toyota built factories in the U.S and created thousands of jobs for Americans. What about Big Three that you love so much? They cost us billions of dollars of our tax money, most likely they won't pay it back, and they haven't created new jobs. Big Three went down because they FAILED to make cars that Americans want to buy. Toyota beat them in competition.

  • @Sitti2300 If you haven't been paying attention, the big three, especially chrysler and ford, have been evolving significantly. And we would create many more jobs if people started buying american made products. Do you have any idea how many people were laid off, or fired, or went out of business? Its because everybody is buying imported products. I hate toyota with a passion. Not just because its foreign, but because they are not a truthful or worthy company. At least we fix our faults.

  • @chorstma44 You are missing the whole point. Basically you are saying American should buy American car. Don't let nationalism blind you. Our auto industry is in this situation because of "american should buy american car". Big Three failed to compete and kept making cars even Americans don't want to buy. You can't blame our problems on Toyota. It's all on us. Big Three lost in competition. Now we are playing catch up at cost of tax payers without creating any new job.

  • @Sitti2300 Absolutely agree. How can an american car company make better cars for elsewhere markets than U.S.? I dont know why consumers actually hate competitions. Competitions let us to make choices. This is how a healthy economy supposed to work.

  • @chorstma44 And you mentioned Toyota's recent "problem", since you hate T, you probably won't accept the fact that it was all shameful political BS. All of those congressmen who attacked T now changed side and supporting them. Many of people claimed brake issue turned out to be fraud. So far Toyota won all cases in court. NASA proved no design flaw. In Feb, T US sales increased 42%. Biggest in 11 years. Americans weren't fooled by it. Many of us trust and love T. They're already part of the US.

  • @chorstma44

so...hybrid american cars are pussies too heh?

    interesting...

  • @Jaesango Not necessarily. Some car companies have been able to modify and existing car in their lineup into a hybrid. So the only exterior difference is a "Hybrid" badge located on the exterior of the car. Pretty much any Hybrid is a bad investment, but if I were to drive a hybrid, I would rather drive a Ford Fusion hybrid versus a Toyota Prius. In my opinion, the prius is one of the worst designed cars I have ever seen. It is defiantly not targeting the male audience. You wont see me in one.

  • @chorstma44

    continuing...

and i'm talking New York horrible all day long.

If you're supporting the American auto market then by all means go for it. But please don't hate on other foreign countries for outsmarting and winning in competition. The Japanese automakers won because they simply create better and more reliable cars and if you know anything about cars, you can't deny that. Sure they might not produce the best 'muscle cars' like the U.S. but it's because they don't HAVE to.

  • @chorstma44

There's simply not enough open roads to feel the full effect of the cars. All the small countries focus on cars that are efficient and reliable because they know that's what people will buy.

  • @chorstma44

its not only about the monetary value...its mainly about saving the environment.

you should know the basics before you post

  • @Jaesango As I said in my past statement, hybrids only save on gas. Thats it! Sure they use less gas and do not run all of the time which does decrease emissions by around 30%. But batteries are not environmentally friendly at all. You are better of getting a regular gasoline powered car. It is less expensive, and has the same environmental impact

  • @chorstma44

When it comes down to it, it really comes down to "what's worse"

And with all this global warming propaganda going around, reducing CO2 as well as other global warming gases is the main priority, especially because of all money that's being poured into the advocacy of it.

And you should realize that these cars were designed in Japan, so their first function is to serve the driving situation in Japan. Like most overpopulated asian countries, the traffic there is horrible.

  • Comment removed

  • @chorstma44 The deal is, the advertising, branding, and green propaganda make people with no analytical skills "feel" like they're saving money and "feel" like they're saving the environment, when in fact there is no CO2 problem, and the batteries you mentioned probably do more to damage the environment than the gasoline they saved would have. Also, the cost/benefit analysis doesn't work out. But, to the politically correct schmuck out there with no reasoning skills, a Hybrid is a great choice.

  • @AlexanderRozhenko I couldn't have said it any better. Its all advertising to an uninformed audience. You are better off getting a normal gasoline powered car. If people actually compared statistics they would see that a normal car isn't even bad for the environment. Its commercial transportation and poorly maintained cars. It would be a wise choice to concentrate more on commercial vehicles and machines rather than little cars. Hybrid busses, clean diesels, and natural gas vehicles is a start.

  • What the hell was that little clitty!!!

I'm a man, give me a stick or give me death.

  • THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR BUYING A POS PRIUS THE WORST CAR IN THE WORLD

  • @tuugfo yup, worst car in the world, thats why they sold a shit ton of them.

  • i have been thinking about a prius 51 mpg turns me on... can't wait till all the manufactures start competing for the best electric cars 10 or 15 years we should be seeing some realy good cars over 100 mpg .. or no gas at all. the thought of that makes my brain tickel

  • I wish i was beside you in my Duramax Id blow smoke all over you Obongo voters! Haha I love my 10 MPG 4wd! Drive a hybrid, I need your gas!

  • @72CHEVROLETCHEYENNE god your a complete and utter oblivious moron. It's really too bad you were allowed to be born, the world would DEFINITELY be a better place without you.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup Haha o harsh! Your suck a dumbass! I really feel bad for you. Dont worry I'll pray for you!

  • @72CHEVROLETCHEYENNE I suck "A" dumbass? never heard that one before. Anyways, I'm sure your 'god' will be really pleased with you knowingly wasting the resources he gave the world.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup Lol. So tell me this, How am i supposed to fit Me, My Wife, and my 12 Year Old son, Along with 3 German Shorthaired Pointer dogs, plus about 5 suitcases for each of our luggage(More like just 3) into a Prius. Just riddle me that one. The answer is O dumbass YOU CAN'T. You can call me a Redneck, Fuel Guzzeling Asshole, Whatever i've heard em all. The truth is, a Prius can't solve the everyday needs of people today. Don't even get me started on safety

  • @1970CamaroZ Well I guess your right since you, your wife and child probably total almost 1000 lbs. You definitely do need a ton of power to haul your asses around. Thankfully, the next generations are getting more conscious of the fact that we are destroying our world. Will be a good day when your generation is dead and long gone.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup Haha..funny how you say i way over 1,000 Lbs. Funny, Heres a little tip buddy. Out where i live (Where you can say is "Hicks-Ville") you wouldn't make it very far in a Hybrid. I don't get into the name game, just because you don't prove anything. Thats why out where i live, People drive Diesel Trucks and Gasoline Powered Tahoe's and Suburbans because thats whats practical out there. You can haul anything with them. Prius's are nice when you live in the city but not for outside.

  • @1970CamaroZ what?

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup Hey guess what? i made a video about you Prius driving idiots. Don't worry it'll be up shortly

  • @1970CamaroZ what?

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup I guess you can't comprehend what i'm saying. So i'll break it down. PRIUS'S ARE NOT PRACTICAL. The next generation will say the same thing. What about familys who have 4 Kids?, You can't possibly fit 4 kids into a Prius. Hell even Jeremy Clarkson on top gear hates the Prius. In my book, if you have a prius, then your a virgin and have no balls or dick.

  • @1970CamaroZ In your book? bwhaha. Only a true dumbass thinks that what someone drives makes them who they are. I think that people driving big trucks are little bitches. On my sportbike once a asshole in a lifted up truck cut me off and then blew his nasty ass diesel smoke in my face. When he parked, I got off my bike took off my helmet and approached him. The little bitch didn't even want to get out of his big bad truck. I carry a .45 on me when I ride, so fuck with me and catch some metal.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup ok internet gangsta i owuld love for you to come try and do that shit to me

  • @SentOWNSU internet gangsta, lol. Its just how I ride. I've had to flash it a few times to assholes to shut them the fuck up. I'm no "gangsta" I just don't take shit from dumbasses. and if you messed with me, I wouldn't try anything, I will just do something.

  • Nice gear selector. Reminds me of the little toy truck I had when I was 4.

  • 80 MPH..Whoa i think thats the fastest a Prius has ever gone..

  • @1970CamaroZ I've been over 100 in a 2nd gen prius, it was stable and smooth. But then a prius never claimed it was for speed, so its hillarious all the knuckleheads keep talking about its speed like they meant to make it a asphalt burner or something. How about being original and try to be a part of the solution and not a continued source of the problems of modern day society. May be too hard for you, we'll have to wait till all you fucks die off and kids will learn what NOT to do.

  • I bet if Chevy had a stuck throttle problem all of you would come down on and criticize GM But when the EMPEROR's COMPANY TOYOTA BANSAI! has a throttle problem you try to find an excuse. All of you are betrayers to your country. I hope you get run over by a chrome bumpered car from the 50s or 60s.

  • @Supergungun Toyota builds a large portion of cars in America, They spend a boat load on marketing and advertising in America and employ a crap load of people with great paying jobs. What's the problem with buying Toyota?

  • @shawakwak For one, ever dollar spent on Toyota is another dollar spent to help the Axis and the emperor and for another Toyota invented the boring Jelly Bean Body Style that plagues every car nowadays.

  • @shawakwak It seems that there is a abundance of people commenting on this video who don't think or research before they speak.

  • i seriously can't believe they were accelerating at full throttle and the car was barely going up in mph. some passing power, i'd be literally be scared to drive these turtles of cars.

  • @GregRobinson156 - which part of the number "70" are you having trouble with? The seven - or the zero?

  • @GregRobinson156 Even Prius I have the great honor of getting behind seems to have a top speed of about 48 MPH, even on a rural interstate where the speed limit is 70

  • @85buickV8 then you haven't driven a prius or you don't know how to push the accelerator pedal. I think you need to get past age 11 so you are big enough to get the gas pedal a little farther to the floor.

  • there was never anything wrong with the drive by wire system. it started out with the gas pedal getting stuck on the floormat which is a legit reason. the media just morphed it into saying that he car just randomly accelerates for no damn reason. all a bunch of bullshit if u ask me

  • @tablerape Agreed- but t's always daft women or stupid old men that don't know what their feet are doing. Most don't even realise they are IN a car until they crash it. Then the excuses start about it crashing itself which is always quite funny to see. I think it says more about the type of people attracted to a Prius than anything. Make them have a medical check, eye sight check, reaction check and don't allow them to use prescription drugs and drive. That would solve the prius problem.

  • Here's why your test fails. Your on board computer hasn't failed. If it should fail, you won't be able to shift your wireless gear selector into neutral.

  • @frankiej510 This is why your arguement fails, there is no such thing as a wireless gear selector. The shifter is drive by wire selector, so first the accelerator pedal would have to be stuck and the drive by wire selector not work (same as mechanical return spring snapping), which would be two independent critical part failures. So at that point the vehicle can still be stopped by turning the ignition off.

  • @tmt686 Are you serious? Did you know that the Drive By system found in Toyota vehicles are based on air plane throttle controls? Most likely it's a rip off of an air plane. What this system is, is basically a wireless signal coming from the Drive By system and going to a the ECU which tells the car to go faster, turn off, and shift into drive/park/reverse. I've done my research and I can't find anything to prove that I'm wrong. Prove me wrong, and I will stop replying.

  • @frankiej510 can't reply to your research, unless you give me a source

  • @frankiej510 It's all physical wires. No wireless anything. The only thing wireless is the hands free bluetooth phone connectivity. If you get a chance take a look. A wireless system for a car would be crazy.

  • @tmt686 Wrong again pal. It uses wireless sensors to determine the correct pressure to fuel ratio. Look it up on auto.howstuffworks

  • @frankiej510 The senors are on the ETC assembly and on the top of the pedal and the system is physically wired together. If it was wireless the sensors would have to have their own batteries and nobody would care to change them, like in a cell phone

  • @frankiej510 sorry if I'm being a pest

if you meant wireless (there's no bowden cable) then yes, but there are electrical wires attached to the sensors.

  • @tmt686 lets look in the newspaper today...LA TImes, sept 15 "toyota admits black box reader bug". The national highway safety administation reported to congress that they tested the black boxes, and found in 35/58 recorders that when they applied the brakes, this action was not recorded by the box. So they have to go back to reevaluate all the fatal accidents chalked up to driver error, with no indication of braking action, to see if these cases were actually mechanical malfunction.

  • Respond to this video...My guess is-they will find it was actually mechanical malfunction. No, we havent had an outbreak of driver suicides recently, suicides that only occur among Toyota drivers. Toyota had only one (1), yes 1!!! black box readers in the US until 2010, and they never allowed non toyota employees to use it. When they finally did allow the NTSB to use it this year, they imediately saw the data it produced was physically impossible. Both detector and reader are screwy.

  • @tmt686 Respond to this video...Toyota says "to all those people maimed and killed recently by our cars, people who we subsequently referred to as pathological liars, lying scum trying to make us look bad, stupid americans who get the brake and gas pedal mixed up, we say..ooops. Sooooo sorry. We soooo sorry. We stupid. We dont realize the toyota tundra not capable of deaccelerating from 250 mph. I never occur to us that something wrong with our box. So sorry. Ooops. Ha ha ha. We so silly.

  • @tmt686 Respond to this video.it probably is stray external radio frequency or stray internal electrical charges that is screwing up the drive by wire system all together.Toyota asked for help from NASA scientists to help them find stray rf that is messing up their drive by wire systems. It has nothing to do with a spring. All of these systems will go haywire if the power source isnt carefully designed, allowing stray currents in.Only 1 failure-shoddy design of toyota electrical components.

  • Why don't you slam the shifter around a little harder? It's not broke yet. Why do people have to be so fucking rough on everything?

  • @whatitis99 Are you kidding? You think that was rough? What a puss.

  • @Kdog54902 They don't mean for you to let it slam back to where it wants to go you dumbass redneck hillbilly mother fucker. GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!

  • this proves that all that media fuss about Prius speeding uncontrollably was a BS.

  • Prius ! it's a good Car ! don't listen to these white trash freeloader scumbags , driving one for more than 4 years, not a single problem so far.

This is obviously an orchestrated campaign to get rid of Japanese cars in American market.

I would certainly trust a Japanese engineered car than any other brand (especially Americans which will tell you any lie to sell their cheap shit)

Anyone remember Ford Escort , piece of shit junk crap ! approx same year Corollas came out.Where r they ? junkyard.

  • @LimboGeezer orchestrated campaign my ass. It was orchestrated by the execs at Toyota, who thought they could save money by cutting safety and reliability testing. Go read how they ignored the warnings from american engineers, and swept the problems under the rug for the past 10 years. For fiesta and Ford Focus are some of the best selling cars in europe, as was the Ford escort.

  • duuude u got a prius ... that sucks

  • @BLACKPOWER707 Lol.

  • If you watch the news story on the guy they have a recording of his 911 call. They ask if he can put it in neutral and he said he couldn't because he had one hand on the cell phone and the other on the steering wheel and couldn't take his hand off the wheel and call at the same time.

  • wow, pedal to the metal and it goes 69, 69.5, 70, 71, 72, 73 mph.... just funny, thats all.

But yeah, offcourse it will shift into Neutral if you try it.

  • don't you just love America made cars

  • like the moron that was texting while driving and killed that engineer.

  • i have had two cars accelerate on me. both times i just put it in nuetral. people are such retards. first one was an old rx-7 and the carb. flipped over and was running wide open. the other was a mustang that had aftermarket floor mats and the mat pushed the pedal down. no incident, just quickly went to neutral and turned the engine off. anyone that cant do that, just social darwinism. the only problem is they run over and kill a more intelligent person on their way to work as a rocket scientist

  • I like the little ARGH that you did. XD 5 stars! Great vid!

  • just listen to all these internet mechanics !!!!

    LOOK at the video!!!!

    You can stop your toyota!!

  • ub3r1337pwn4g3 - You should check yourself back into elementary school.

The fact of the matter is that these problems are still not resolved by Toyota and yet you people are unaware how your stupid actions can cause accidents. Maybe you're right. There aren't anything wrong with Toyotas, just you people who drive them. Man, there's no hope in any of you. I abandon all hope in you. Go ahead and flame me, I won't be checking this. There's not point in making a fact clear amongst retards.

  • gt40turbocivics, kindly check yourself into a mental hospital as well. Obviously you don't see a problem with trying something like this on a public road. Showing people how to stop accelerating on public roads may be common where you live where common sense isn't prevalent.

Davebikes - who said the brakes work? Have you not seen the massive media coverage about brakes not being able to stop the car? I guess a person like you without a brain wouldn't be able to comprehend something like that.

  • Thank you for not being a completely stupid idiot like that other driver.

Anyone remember ABC doing exploding gas tank stories on Ford back in the 1980s? Those Explorers only exploded because there was a bomb underneath them. ABC never told you that. CBS won't ever tell you this guy was trying to get out a speeding ticket.

  • @gnuzman remember the Pinto? those did explode on impact, don't deny that.

  • @lucernrox yes, the pintos would always blow when they got rearended

  • @BLACKPOWER707 all those cars were before my time, but what the hell were some car manufacturers thinking? many of those cars from the 70's were ugly as FUCK, like for example Toyota, they came a looooong way in design.

  • @lucernrox Neither was I, but my grandpa was a ford bodyman and mechanic and he told me about it. all three of my aunts on his side had pintos, and luckily they never got in a accident that caused an explosion. Major design flaw.

And yes i agree with how ugly they some were, pinto and mid to late 70's mustangs especially.. Now think how cars coming off the assembly line today are going to look wierd as hell in 30 years.....

  • @BLACKPOWER707 today's cars are works of art compared to even 10 years ago. I can practically live in my suv.

  • @lucernrox somewhat... i think some cars look like hell compared to 10 years ago.. but some are much improved

  • @BLACKPOWER707 you're right, remember the Chevy Aztec? what the hell where they thinking with that monstrosity? I remember this dealership here in Berlin had like 5 of them, in an attempt to sell more American imports, none sold, NONE.

  • @lucernrox haha yes, or the Pontiac Vibe, that thing is a joke. but how would they expect to sell those aztecs? why would they try to sell that as an import in berlin over all of the other badass american cars that could have been imported.

are there many american imports over there at all?

  • @BLACKPOWER707 well to be honest with you American imports just aren't popular in Europe and in most other parts of the world I've been to, like Asia, unfortunately American made products are seen as inferior, kind of like the 'made-in-China' label in the US.

  • @lucernrox oh, i figured at least some performance cars would be sold out there. but from many europeans view i have found many absolutely hate american cars

  • @BLACKPOWER707 yes we do abhor American cars, first of they are quite inferior to our own cars, they break down more often, and then get a whole lot of less miles to the gallon, basically they're real inefficient.

  • @lucernrox Interesting. Over there dont you have to pay approximately 3 euro per liter of fuel?

  • @BLACKPOWER707 just about, the most I paid was almost 5 Euro in Lichtenstein.

  • @lucernrox that is rediculous. if i had to pay that i would deffinitely invest in a gas saver

  • @BLACKPOWER707 that's why most people here drive small, gas saving cars, it's just common sense

  • Comment removed

  • @Jellolion1 dude just what is your problem anyways? I can see so much built up sexual frustration in you, can't you at least post one comment without having to resort to childish name calling? My opinions are my opinions and I don't need you to be on my ass, now stfu. Can't you have a civil conversation with perfect strangers? or do you just fester in your chair all day long creating arguments behind a computer screen. For fucks sakes calm down you annoying bastard. Sheesh.

  • @gnuzman the exploding gas tank was on the pinto in the mid 1970's. The ford explorer had the problem with cheap tires. Get out of a speeding ticket? Youre full of it.

  • bad drive....

  • I suppose Americans love our country, but Corporate America wants us to show our love by sabotaging a company that has served us well.

Supposedly the only way to show our loyalty is to fork over our hard earned money to the rich Corporate American Good Old Boys.

  • oOh putting it in neutral is careless is it ... ooh ooh and the brakes still work , so where is the danger Zupof ??? Your a tool !

Nothing inside your head except space lols.

  • I would like to call you careless. Are you stupid? Why on earth would you try this on a public road? If you wanted to perform something as stupid as this, you should be on a private area with tons of space where there are no cars. You can easily hurt someone. You need to check yourself in to a hospital so someone can take a look at your head.

  • @Zupof Guess what STFU no one cares if its on public roads, shes showing how to stop ur pruis from accelerating

  • @Zupof Man calm down I do like 60-80 in the city. Bahwauhhuauh

  • @Zupof your high

  • @ub3r1337pwn4g3: In responce to your comment about Zupof: I take offense to that!! I'm high, but still not an idoit!

  • the acceleration is electronic- its a signal sent not a manual action that engages drive- once the signal is jammed, the car will not recognize neutral, meaning neutral does not disengage drive- nor will park work, brakes will only smoke-

people should actually do research on the problem before recommend a fix-

  • @tonan002 this is just not true. Not only is it not true but Toyota critics, the media, and people suing Toyota are not even claiming that the cars won't shift to neutral when unintentionaly accelerating! NO issue involving the transmition have even been suggested!

  • check out da4desigirls

  • Sikes should be whipped with a cat o nine tail for such brazen lying. Bankrupt shameless fool.

  • @whiteliketar you should be whipped with a cat-o-nine tails for such a brazen display of total idiocy. Toyota will very soon be bankrupt too.

  • that does not show us any thing

  • @mrjamesduffney yeah, it doesnt show shit. But most people just cant get their small minds around this problem. "Hey, there isnt anything wrong with my car, so they all must be OK" "Hey, why cant they just step on the brakes and stop?"

  • Comment removed

  • i love toyota

  • IM REPOARTIING YOAR SPEADING ILLEGAL AKKTIVITTIES!!!!1one!!1

  • sikes should be beaten with a stick in public for lying. only kids and those affected by mental retardation would believe Sikes.

  • Consumer Reports demonstrated in the toyota venza (172 HP, 4 cylinder model) that the brakes could not stop a car with a stuck throttle, in fact, in a few seconds, the brakes wore through and ALL BRAKING POWER WAS LOST. Unlike ALL OTHER CARS, Toyotas do not kill the engine when the brakes are pressed. Saylor was driving a lexus es350, which has 272 hp, when he and his family were killed. It was a loaner from the dealer, so he probably was not familiar with the strange toyota features.

  • @Jellolion1 Or he might have just been a cretin who could not handle any sort of a malfunction.

  • Reguardless of the fact you can shift the Prius into neutral when it is floored, it is still very much unacceptable that the cars accelerate unexpectedly. No car should do that. It is also an issue that the company presents itself as the highest quality automobile that would ensure saftey, reliablity, and value het admits now to "growing to fast" and letting all three aforementioned selling points to be overlooked.

  • seems you got "Package 6" we would have it to but "they" wanted "HEATED" leather seats...

  • all i know is that if your a motorhead and would know what to do if your car was upside down on fire, you wouldnt be driving a prius

The conputer chips have beeen proven to not show any error

I would think it would be easy for the car disengage the gas (or clutch?) whenever you step on the brake

I dont know why toyota isnt taking appropiate actions, Hopefully that increaces american car sales

  • This simple move was something that Sikes could not do? Despite being instructed several times by the 911 operator? It is quite obvious that Sikes wanted to stall for time on the freeway so that the news media can converge and put his story on the front page. Sikes envisioned lawsuit money, lucrative book deal, talk show circuit, and, perhaps, a pay off from a government contact who recruited Sikes to orchestrate this hoax.

    Sikes. He's shady. Watch him.

  • The CHP officer said Sikes emerged from the car PALE and SHAKY, and he TRIED TO HIDE FROM THE PRESS IN THE AMBULANCE. The EMT confirmed that Sikes had extremely high pulse and blood pressure. Piece of Shit Toyota shill. Your company is fucked.

  • u are such a dummy. everyone knows sikes is a scumbag liar. who would want to trust a professional bankrupt artist. u are such a clown.

  • @whiteliketar oh really? How does everyone know? Because toyota said it? Those japs also told the good people of Okinawa that the americans were coming to rape them and enslave their children, and if the americans were victorious, they all needed to throw their children and jump off the cliffs. I suppose you would be the first to jump.

  • @whiteliketar Those japs also said that they had nothing to do with the Rape of Nanking, that it was all made up. You believe that too? They say that ww2 started when the US dropped atmic bombs, and that the nips are total victims of ww2. You believe that too? Sikes was trying to HIDE from the press. He hasnt sued anybody, nor does he want to. So shut your shitty mouth.

  • @Jellolion1 Maybe it was an anxiety attack, because he had to think of a few more lies to cover up his phony story, and was worried that he would be exposed. I mean if I were to do so, I'm sure I would be no different.

  • the Japs are shady. Whatch them. They are shameless liars, and they are now spending a fortune on hiring people to harass and slander the victims of the shit deathtrap cars

  • oh shut your stupid racist crap. the rape of Nanking..it's true it did happen..Man is inherently evil but your german friends( i am sure u like their cars) seemed to prefer....let me see..hmmmm..genocide and turning people into soap and lamp shades...yep..that's why every time I see a volkswagen or a bmw..I can't help smelling burning flesh.LOL...let's trust the germans instead

  • ha ha u are such a bird brain. I am certainly not japanese but Toyota reigns supreme. perhaps u drive a small yellow bus and can't appreciate the greatness of that great car company.
