Visual kei isnt a music genre, its a style. You might aswell call it visual music. Since thats what it is.

But the word "Visual-kei" is more known and easier to relate to so its smarter to use that word instead.

And as i said visual kei is not a music genre, like An Cafe is pop rock and gazette heavier rock, its all just a style.

@Sktilseio They do have different terms for it though.. The GazettE would be considered a basic visual kei band while An Cafe would be more of a Oshare-kei band... There a few others like Eroguro-kei which was started by Cali Gari and then there is also Angura-kei which is a more darker and underground genre that some people favor.. It's not just fashion, the music is also influenced by each distinguishable style.. However, there are a few exceptions like The Piass.

Egentligen den enda låten från Seremedy som imponerar mig. Men ska man ta dem på allvar så krävs fortfarande massiv finslipning, en slutsats som man lätt kan dra genom att lyssna på allt de producerat hittils. Ger dem i varje fall tummen upp för att de vågar sticka ut i ett samhälle där majoriteten av ungdomarna, som tydligen inte vill vidga sin syn, kallar det mesta som de är ovana vid för "bögig".

Well, VK is cool. Eventhough europeans may not look as good as japanese when trying to be VK, they still look good. I think I'll be moving to Sweden next year and I really hope I'll meet both Seremedy and Kyrielle and maybe other visual kei bands that will be then. Anyway, from what I've seen, Sweden has the highest percent of androgynous boys in Europe. I think that in Stockholm for example, if you get out to walk every day, you must be blind not to see at least an androgynous boy.
