  • Yearning, heartfelt violins, glorious bass clarinet - and when the band bursts in at the end of Morton's utterly graceful solo the effect is almost overwhelming!

  • Interesting! The violin solo that opens this take is being played by the self same Darnell Howard who is playing clarinet on the preceding Muggsy Spanier take maybe 28 years later.
