While I agree with some of what you said, there's a bit that confuses me. "Fight for our country no matter what". I can appreciate this statement, truly I can. I must ask, though, what about fighting to save it from within? Remember, a true patriot defends his nation not only from foreign enemies, but also domestic.This part I think some people forget.
Believe me when I tell you, a majority of soldiers would stand with you/us all, if it came down to it.
What I mean to say is simple: Many, many soldiers, both veteran and active, would not stand against their own people. There are some orders, even if given from the very top, which do NOT have to be followed, if the soldier(s) feel the orders are unjust. You know how military personal swear to defend the Constitution? It is also the duty of every American to do the same. Sadly, with years of conditioning, most forget this duty.
This would never happen unless something drastic like either country was responsible for the death of their leader(s). Think about it, either way, who ever invades who, or who ever attacks who, both would lose. Both countries are in the shittiest economy so far in history right? Lets say Russia won, and we lose. There are some orders, even if given from the very top, which do NOT have to be followed, if the soldier(s) feel the orders are unjust. You know how military personal swear to defend the Constitution? It is also the duty of every American to do the same. Sadly, with years of conditioning, most forget this duty.
