Originality can be brilliant only if one can portray it in a user-friendly and familiar way. not become completely radical and foreign to what ppl are used to. especially if ur in a business, change doesnt happen overnight.

@TheLinkmaster12345 Windwaker's gameplay mechanics felt familiar to me when I first played it. The only major change which was the large focus on sailing, which is a change I can understand some people wouldn't quickly acclimate to.

The graphics may have been cel-shaded, but the monster and character designs were still pure Legend of Zelda fare.

I think the largest issue people really had with the game was that *insert name* and Tetra were not the same Link and Zelda.

Last time I checked, it was Toon Link who stabbed Ganondorf in head, whereas Twilight Princess Link stabbed him in the stomach...which kind of looked lame compared to Toon Link's kill. Toon Link (and Zelda) also stabbed Malladus in the head in the end of Spirit Tracks. I like Toon Link more...even though I completed a playthrough of Twilight Princess before I completed a playthrough of Wind Waker... guess that's because I think Toon Link is more badass than Twilight Princess Link...
