she was definately not 7 or 8 when she sang this. this song didnt' even come out until she was 11. selena isn't by any means bad, but some of the notes she hits on somewhere over the rainbow are really off and she has sucky head voice technique. she just sounds like an average teenage girl (and don't kid youself. she definately isn't a little girl here. she sounds at least 13) and not the super-polished disney start that she is on her albums. she isn't bad singer but she isn't great either.
