However, some bands prefer to remain slightly more subtle with how 'odd' their lyrics get, and others are creative in much more sophisticated ways (e.g Franz Ferdinand). You can't really judge a band purely on their lyrical creativity (and for that reason I won't say that is why I think Franz are better than Grinderman). It is all just a matter of opinion of course, but on the basis of the 2 band's performances...
