ok i have a question i have a 2004 subaru wrx, i modified i haved now a vf-39, wallbro 255 ,intercooler 2008 sti ,downpipe and megan racing catback i need to change the injector for the sti 565cc or i can run the car with his original injector sorry for my bad english i speack spanish

LOL im not knocking your car AT ALL but damn......I made 498awhp on my 06 STI on 109oct at 26psi boost and I also have a GT35R lol.....numbers are numbers!

Boost is just a measure of restriction. This motor was flowing a ton of AIR due to great headwork, fmic, etc which is why it made great #s and trapped so high at the dragstrip on plain pumpgas.

I just bought an 05 sti yesterday. i was wondering what mods u did to make 489 hp and how much psi a sti motor with bone stock, manifold, throttle body ect, without risking blowing engine or head gaskets?

The car has a fully built motor, custom turbo/fmic kit, gt35r turbo, TXS UTEC, big fuel system, and a lot of drivetrain mods. Knock will kill your stock motor before boost does, but most people stop around ~400-450whp for safety.

Damm! where you on a dyno dynamics? they read way lower than everyone else. You probly at 550-600hp on a regular dyno if thats a dyno dynamics.

These numbers were with their "dynojet correction factor" which is 1.20

So the final # uncorrected was like 420whp, but I saw it hitting 430-440 during tuning.

I don't know. I expect 125mph+ in the quarter mile with this power, and 100 in the eighth.

Supposably shorter gears Ive heard so if you had an 07 no more shifting to 5th in the 1/4 mile (stock of course)

Do you need to switch maps everytime your running the cutout? Also do you notice any boost spikes while having it open?

Haven't driven it at all with the cutout open but I do expect to have to turn down the wastegate duty cycle. My boost controller can switch between two different maps easily so I'm all set with that.

I do see boost spikes with the LC/FFS set up like how it was in my "spinning 2nd gear hard" video. It makes 25psi during the 2-3 shift and I had to turn down the FFS RPM to fix that.

The last clip in this video with the cutout open made ~518whp before it hit boost cut. I didn't record the one that hit 505.
