it was broken, so he took it off lol. That is fact btw, not making that up. He also removed all the Volume/Tone knobs off it too. It's still a hell of a guitar

yeah I haven't seen it recently, but last time I did he didnt fix it, and the guitar makes an appearance in "It Might Get Loud" the documentary about Jimmy Page, The Edge, and White, and it doesn't look fixed

yeah he's definitely a fan of hollowbodies since he plays alot of blues. I'd love to try out any of his guitars, since he experiments so much and even plays alot of stuff purposely out of tune. He's really a genius musically, and I also respect him for not selling himself to go 100% mainstream.

I'd like to be able to say that this performance is fantastic, because I normally feel that way about the differing sounds the White Stripes put out each performance, but I am just not feeling this one. It's a best song of mine, too.. yet it's "off" or something. It does not seem like Jack or Meg are into it, either.. Well, maybe Meg more than Jack, but only that.

The Stripes kick ass. I saw them live in 2007 and it was the best concert I ever went to. They sound great live. I saw The Black Keys live last summer and they were only half as good as the Stripes.

I like the White Stripes but I kind of agree with mintyninty21. Live they put lots of energy into the performance, but it just doesn't sound that great, especially Jack White's vocals. Actually if you want another good blues rock duo, you should check out The Black Keys (especially their song 'Thickfreakness'). I reckon if you like The White Stripes you'll probably like them, and The Black Keys sound amazing live.
