summoning IMO has most unique style and dark ambient, i don't know other band that is so consistent and unique, for examle ammon amarth is very consistent throughout albums, but summoning is completly different story from other bands ..

@npopovic1 Hold on no it's not in my country this is called trall black and if you listen to bands like old mans child or early early dimmu you can find the same atmosphere in that and alot of others maybe dimmu was a bad example with it not being pure black metal and all but you know what i mean.

@Cenobitum yes, there were great tunes on albums like for al tid and stormblast, but summoning has that kind of dark layered mellodies and atmosphere from first to last album, they haven't degraded in quality in time, quite opposite i think, that's why I like them

@npopovic1 Yeah it's horrible how great bands like satyricon and Marduk just plain sucks nowdays. I mean if you listen to their early stuff there's no doubt that they where once uncrowned kings of extreme metal.
