Man, people are too stupid when it comes to playing Wii. How the HELL do you break a television with one?! I've had my Wii since when they were released and I've never had a problem. These days, the remotes come with the stupid jackets which I hate so much, but luckily, I don't have one. But if people had half the brain they should, we mightn't need all this bullshit Wii safety. I mean, look at the Wii splash screen. Aren't Health and Saftey warnings epic?

Well I get sweaty hands a lot, but I have had a Wii since the beginning, and because of the platform game grip for the sideways orientation of the Wii remote, I have had my strap off my remote for some time. I use the Wii a lot, and have never had any problem with it going flying out of my hand, and I've NEVER had the string snap. People are too careless, that's the reason. And I don't think you mean old Wiis. I think you mean the old Wii remote straps. Personally, I like the new straps though.
