Windmill R9 is very useful for self defense purposes, and that's because of 0.8 seconds loading time. However, ranking it is very tedious work.

And well, since I'm using bows and crossbows as my primary weapons, I didn't bother pushing it past R9 to R5 or R1 for more range. Especially seeing how it only calculates barehanded damage when I'm using my bows. I'm just using it to repel enemies if I miss a shot.

Also, Zombies in TNN (Tir Na Nog) help a WHOLE lot. Except that you can only go on Saturdays, unless you have a return coupon or a back door trick ;3

Hmm, what my friend always does is go to a dungeon and bring a bunch of tendering pots and cp lowering items(labeled "looks a bit weak" in game) and spawn all the mob in the orb rooms and windmill away.

WM is so powerful tho if u learn hwo to use it. And it isn't useless without critical O.o ... I find it sooo helpful in dungeons, espcially if u multi aggro. and if you want str, rank up combat mastery

You're right, it's not 'useless', but its so much better, and usually best to use with a high ranked Critical.

Windmill is always useful for Multi-Aggro; but it's not that helpful if you can't kill all the monsters in one blow.

With a good Critical, if you hit that critical while windmilling, it's amazing.

As for ranking Combat Mastery, good luck Ranking Windmill+Final Hit (Both good STR giving skills) if you rank Combat Mastery first.

I'm pure melee, ranking WM is hard enough with a low CM.

My Combat mastery is Rank 7, and the Red + Metal Skeles in Rabbie are still awful o.o ... my total is like 132? Rank 9 WM also o.o

The thing is though, you want monsters that are boss, so you can rank it as fast as possible.

If you rank up your Combat Mastery, you'll lose out on a lot of boss monsters (Zombies, most likely).

I had 7 CM, but I deranked it to B, and now I'm slowly working on WM, which is Rank 5. If I went to zombies sometime, I could easily get it to Rank 4. Heck, I have enough AP to get it to Rank 1, I just hate training it. ._.

CM skill CP grows fast, which is why it can be a hindrance.

I suppose CM's rank doesn't matter too much, if you have two skills that add more Stat CP.

R5 WM: 180 CP, Rank A CM: 180 CP.

CP is determined by stats and your skills. It takes the two skills of yours that give the highest amounts of CP, highest giving 100% CP, second highest giving 50% CP.

As you can see, Rank A CM ties with Rank 5 WM, and quickly grows to 250 by R7.

250 is a lot of CP, and can easily knock down some monster ranks, if thats the most CP giving skill you have. :x

Counterattack Rank C is good.

When counterattack is loaded, it uses stamina every second.

Rank F to D uses 2 Stamina a second, while C to 6 uses 1 Stamina a second. Rank 5 to 1 uses .5 a second.

If you use counterattack a lot, and tend to stand around in it for like, 5 seconds or more, it would probably be best to keep it at C.

Extremely tough, you're looking at about 10,400 monsters total from rank 5 to 1.

Depends on your playstyle, and whether or not you have friends who play with you regularly and use different skills. Smash will give you great single hit damage for one hitting more enemies and getting --- Slayer with a Single Blow titles, but it won't help you against multi-aggro enemies present in most dungeons like Windmill will. Rank 9 or above WM is almost essential when doing difficult dungeons, especially if you're soloing against mullti-aggro mobs.

Most monsters are set to only attack one player at a time. The game is quasi-turn based, so fighting multiple monsters is very difficult. (monsters on the hard levels, however, are set to attack anyone on sight)
