  • Excuse me i meant NWFA.org national woodflooring associates of america.

    Instead of NOFMA.

  • Nofma?

Man you don't need to be part of a group or hold a title with a known association, bro.

Were 3 generation in flooring and never been part of nofma, but we have the the knowledge and know how to go toe to to with any companies quality out there , actually I started out doing lots of sub work for lots of those BIG NAME HARDWOOD FLOORING COMPANIES IN HOUSTON, name them we been there and the sales guys are the ones that had idle time and were more involved in the politics of getting badges

  • @tracybobbyo6 3 generations??/ We all know the technology ,finishes, equipment and technique are changing every year. The way I see it is that you are still working with the old technique and methods. Good luck.

  • @BestFloors changing every years? LOL the sanders are still the same as 40 years ago.. for the tool nothing change much.. only for paper and vernish..

  • The company may be big but the sand and finish guys ///???? Do they have experience?? Next time you have to ask the sales person who is going to do the work and if he can proof their experience? Go to NWFA.org and fing a certified sand and finish guy, will save you a lot of headache

  • I found someone locally who did a great job. The first company botched it twice. Had them re-sand and start over, and both times didn't wipe excess stain off. and this is a big floor company in Charlotte!

  • I am in Naperville IL. Please tell me how many sq ft do you have and I will let you know if ot is worth the trip.

  • Where are you guys from? I have red oak floors already sanded that need staining and finish in Charlotte NC area.

  • Very simple. Wax on, Wax off

  • I see you're staining the floor... But you're not really explaining how...

  • yeah this is done right
