lacrosse is the most dangerous and has the most running in any sport, football is war and you have to be able to take hits, hockey you dont HAVE to be crazy to play but you need to be able to control the puck and take some blows but overall, id have to say that fotball has the most overal hitting, not just huge hits but you make helmet to helmet contact every own, you tackle, block, and run with the ball, recieveing blows along the way

I play both and Lacrosse is far more punishing than hockey. In Hockey you can't really touch the other player with your stick. The only equalizer would be the boards in Hockey .. but even they give a bit.
