As for the fluoride in water, I work in a lab, I have fluoride detector kits by Thermo Fisher. We tested the drinking water, we're not about to die from fluoride poisoning.

They do the same with tooth paste but in higher doses because you aren't supposed to swallow it anyway, which is clearly stated on the packaging of any decent tooth paste. Dental fluorosis is not the same pathology as dental caries. Also, it is a rare condition which prevalence is quit insignificant compared to the prevented prevalence of tooth decay by fluoridation.

1. When Jones went on the air, and I was listening as I was out looking for some in Austin Texas, NOONE in Austin had any left on their shelves. There WAS a run on the stuff, and the WAS a shortage at the local level. If you listened to his show, you'll know he called suppliers and they were out, a caller had indicated that the government was gathering and coming up short, and every indication was that there or was a shortage.
2. His headline was wrong, an over-exaggeration, but it wasn't decietful as much as it was a lack of fact checking. He checked a few places, they were out, time IS an issue, and still IS an issue, and the government is short in supply, so he got a little panicky. Certainly NOT something that needs to be "EXPOSED!!"
3. The reason I commented to you had little to do with the KI and more to do with the fact that you seem to beieve that Jones is over-exagerating the Japan crisis, when he is UNDER-exagerating. You don't even need potassium iodide pills anyway, we get enough iodine from our diets that is more then enough to protect us. Fluoride is not toxic waist. It's toxic in high dosages but it's not waste. By what industrial process or so do you produce fluoride as a waste-product?

As for the fluoride in water, I work in a lab, I have fluoride detector kits by Thermo Fisher. We tested the drinking water, we're not about to die from fluoride poisoning.

Actually, they put fluoride in drinking water to prevent cavities. They do the same with tooth paste but in higher doses because you aren't supposed to swallow it anyway, which is clearly stated on the packaging of any decent tooth paste. Dental fluorosis is not the same pathology as dental caries. Also, it is a rare condition which prevalence is quit insignificant compared to the prevented prevalence of tooth decay by fluoridation.

1. When Jones went on the air, and I was listening as I was out looking for some in Austin Texas, NOONE in Austin had any left on their shelves. There WAS a run on the stuff, and the WAS a shortage at the local level. If you listened to his show, you'll know he called suppliers and they were out, a caller had indicated that the government was gathering and coming up short, and every indication was that there or was a shortage.

AJ and his radio show sure have changed in the last 2 years. I remember 2 years ago he was actually talking about important news, now its nothing but misguided info/half-truths that he throws out; as well some fear mongering. Anyone catch his videos now? Its like watching TV with this "V for victory" crap. The "fame" and internet buzz has gotten to him and his show is now more mainstream to appeal to Republican idiots. Not to mention he has Mancow Muller appearing on his show and other frauds'.

Perhaps what blows my mind most is not Jones' repulsive behavior and antics, but the people that continue to follow him after he has repeatedly outed himself as a fraud. I can only assume that many of Glenn Beck's followers switched over to Jones after BO/BS was sworn in, or there are just a lot of dumb, easily manipulated people out there looking for someone they can believe in and follow, who says what they want to hear.

What are you talking about? The media (as well as the government itself) were some of the first ones to spread the potassium iodide nonsense. Jones took what the media put out and ran with it, like he usually does. He accuses the media of spreading fear and disinfo, yet he takes that same fear and disinfo and uses it when it's to his advantage.
Jones is manipulating his audience the same way the "mainstream media" does theirs, except with Jones it's almost more overt.

You don't even need potassium iodide pills anyway, we get enough iodine from our diets that is more then enough to protect us. I agree he's a fearmonger, doing it for his own benefit at times, but he has produced some awesome films over the years and woken a lot of people, which i respect him for. I still prefer Alan Watt though.
