im deciding on which to get...this or crisis core, and i hav a few questions. does dissidia have story line? and is crisis core a turn by turn game like the older games or real time?

I've played both, and it's safe to say Dissidia has WAY more re-play value. Although, if you love FFVII, and you REALLY want the story, go for it. I'd say get both when you can.

yes, i like more Dissidia, the gameplay is very diferent, the battles are better (in my opinion) AND there is Zidane XD

@ptrexy yes, Zidane is pretty badass. is dissidia have a story mode? because it seems there would be something sort of like a story mode similar to tekken or street fighter

There is a story mode, people say it's not that good, but I found it to be pretty decent, it retains most Final Fantasy elements (what with gaining crystals to save the universe) and there are plenty different scenes to watch, and you get to have your favorite characters interact with each other.

dissidia if you want replay value, however... if you are one of those people who wants to get a game with a good storyline crisis core is for you. it has a lot of the back story of the original final fantasy 7 game.

dissidia, you play with more characters and each character have their own caracteristics of battle, then you choose your favorite character(s). Mine is Zidane

This is a must see, epic battle. I know ALOT of people will disagree, but FF VI, IMO, is better than VII. FF VII makes a close 2nd, but I just can't resist the end of the world plot, and the terrifying villian, Kefka.

ive got this game and i have to say Terra's attack are extremely lame in my opinion, specially that hurricane thing that you have to dodge away from like 3 times just to evade it.

My personal Favorite is FF7 because I like the story but Im not saying its the best either. In my opinion its my favorite. I also Love ff6. The problem with people is they dont realize it doesnt matter which one is better but that they are good games period

Yes! FF love all around! I don't really dislike any of the storylines, but gameplay is what drove me away from XI and XII. It's the only reason I don't like them. (also, old video, you might want to watch some of my others.)

Good battle! I like the way you just go after them even though your HP is low. You also play a bit better than some of the other vids I seen(unless they just suck :p)

Actually when there aren't rapid ff7 fans there are the ff6elitists that annoy anyone that thinks ff7 is better then ff6 even if it is by a small margin. I never mentioned anything about popularity since overated can mean that both characters are rated to highly by the people that are fans of said characters despite the fact that Terra and Cloud both have a similar story. All I,m trying to say is that when it comes to most people many will chose ff7 but the ff6 fans will even argue about series.
