@ytroyhotmail I have no idea what they're using, but you can definitely practice at home with regular shoes (I use converse or chucks) on a solid floor. I tend to practice down grocery store aisles

What do you think you would call their style of tap? Because it definately is not like broadway style. I don't think anyone has really classified all of the different styles of tap that there are. I think everyone just generalizes all tap, but a lot of it is different. I prefer this style with the crazy moves and tricks than the broadway. This is how I was taught to tap at my studio but I am not hardly as good as these guys!
