You know it's funny,when she talks she sounds so alive,outgoing,energetic,like she would be such a cool girlfriend to hang around,but in pictures she looks quiet and reserved. They don't do her justice!
well that's precisely anorexia...the secret, the denial the pretending nothing is going on, pretending it is a life style and pretending there is nothing dark with us...that's anorexia, so yes! her pictures do her justice because she was very ill, mentally very ill

Charlie Tuna mentioned in an interview that Karen would call HIM if he didn't call her first thing in the morning on her birthday! He also mentioned that Karen arrived by herself at the station the morning of this interview....no agent, publicity people, etc. Just Karen. Charlie Tuna said that was quite rare for a celeb to do that. But she was apparently quite unaffected.

Fantastic. Boy was Karen in denial. 89 lbs. I have a theory about her. She thought she was fat. When she was behind the drums I'll bet it didn't bother her. Then some idiot says go out there and sing and we'll get another drummer. Big mistake. She loved the drums and she loved to sing. The Carpenters were great !!
