  • oh... im pretty willing to bet that those same jobs work all year round to get that 40 grand also... the typical crab season isnt a full year... so these guys are making money like that in only a few months... so... maybe you should look at it in a bigger way... as opposed to that small minded stuff you seem to be trapped in.

  • you are correct that they only work 3 months but you have to look at total hours worked within those three months which probably equals out to a years worth of work. They are doing a years worth of work in 3 months. They can go 5 days working withouth sleep or just 1-2 hours of sleep. WHen you break it down the only people making money are the captains.
