In personalizing Snape you should consider that he was born in poor and disfunctional family, which brought him nothing but despair, sadness and fear.

So he was scared to death when he fell in love with Lily.

Scared he would hurt her just like his father hurt his mother, scared to be rejected if he showed her how he really felt...

Then again, he joined the death eathers because he was accepted only there.

He didn't know it would cost him loosing Lily and causing her death :(

An amazing video all the way around, you did a great job on it. I wish that Snape would have told Harry the truth about his love for Lily. When Snape looks into Harry's eyes he sees Lily, the one person he loved so much but never got. When you really read Snape's story it is so tragic.

This video is so sad and so beautiful. My favorite part is 0:54 I wish Harry could have known from the start that Snape loved his mother. I love the message of this song, it's as if Harry is saying to Snape that he's still there, he is his comfort. I think I'm going to cry! What an amazing piece of work :)

WOW. Just... wow. A few scenes that touched me: the end, with Snape's classic billowing cloaks and that heart-wrenching quote. Then, the scene from OOTP with Harry in Umbrage's office and the overlay of Lily- almost like her talking to; pleading with Snape. And the baby Harry/older Harry layering. GREAT job overlaying, and the musical lines totally fit. So haunting; yearning... a job well done! Also, loved the green eyes but it was a little creepy seeing them on Daniel Radcliffe tee hee.

I loved how if you ship J/L it just makes you think. It really made you get past 'evil potion master snape' and really makes you see the Snape that is broken and struggling. It's chilling but I like chilling! So I'm all for it! The song and the video do go great together. That Lily is a blessed one. Loved by 2 great men!

OMG! I got chills when watching that. I favorited it after only a few seconds in. It's amazing! I love the part with youngerSnape walking then it blends into OlderSnape. I love how you showed Snape's conflict with Harry when he sees him and thinks of James or Lily. The "all that's left of yesterday" part is perfect. I LOVE the ending! The whole video just matches the song brilliantly. It's haunting and beautiful. GREAT job!
