seems like this would be too open for a miata motor and you'd lose too much back pressure lowering hp and tq. Did you notice a difference at all aside from sound which actually sounds pretty nice compared to a stock miata exhaust.

This is funny. It sounds like a somewhat typical loud 4 banger. The Z sound is a product of lots of things, the muffler being just part of it, and the engine being another BIG chunk. :) But it definitely will turn heads.

its stupid when people do this and think its going to sound like a 350z. a 350z sounds the way it does because its got a high output v6 and somewhat equal length y pipe. the muffler has nothing to do with that tone. i could put a chevy truck muffler on a 350z and it wont sound like a chevy truck

if you dont mind can you show or tell me how you installed this.and where did you get your 350z muffler?does it just bolt right up?

i got it from someone on craigslist. it does not bolt right up, muffler shop will have to custom pipe to your stock exhaust.
