No no, I didn't even have 1/10 of the max funds. It's $92.520, not 925.200. That map doesn't have many cities, so the Time score would be zero if I'd waited for the incomes. But it would be devastating too =D

I know how to balance Colin!All they have to do is scale the amount of money and give each buck less effect than the last.Just like the armor system in warcraft 3.the first armor point gives you six percent defense.But 40 armor points give only 50 or 60% defense.

xD I don't think so. You see, Advance Wars is a game where your army's power is based on the morale of your men. You can see that clearly when using Kanbei's Power, "Morale Boost", that boosts the attack power of units. Colin's units are less powerful 'cause his a newbie, so they don't put so much confidence on their commander. But, when using Power of Money, it's like rising their salary, and they get all "OMFG I'M GONNA BE RICH!!" and hit with all Greek Gods's power.

Usually, if Kanbei and Colin both have SPs, though, I'd put good money on Kanbei, unless it's late in the game on a large, property-rich map.

Kanbei has that raw strength and adds to it even more with his SP. Colin, on the other hand with cheaper build costs, can have loads of weaker units and yet still have enough money to power up his SP. Kanbei's really good for hitting hard and fast early on and keeping it that way for the entire game. Colin has fast startup, keeps a decent fight, lets himself get slapped around a bit then come back big. All in all, the both of them in the hands of skilled players, are really stalemated.

The Colin's part is exactly right! You described him quite well. But I think the "Kanbei's really good for hitting hard and fast early" is not true... Kanbei is a little slower because he has to charge up his money so he can build powerful units. This way, he is the opposite side of Colin.

Kanbei's units are at the highest tier. Strongest infantry, recon, mechs etc. He has unmatched power in all unit types. Starting out, he has more strength percentage-wise but lacks numbers.

kanbei is the strongest in global though, cause Max tanks can deal with his but projectile units are weak then.

so yeah, kanbei got the best units in global but not the best in each type.
