Why didn't this guy just lower the collective? Also, what the hell caused him to nose forward like that? Was he making abrupt forward inputs with the cyclic after having made such a nice touchdown?
Learjetjock said, "No disrespect to the rotor heads though." Did any of you catch that? And he does have a friend....Even one that flys an S-76. He can't be all that bad. And who cares if he can't land his Longhorn on an oil rig in the Gulf in 0/0, single pilot IFR uncoupled inbound when the MMR stops tuning...........I'm just happy SOMEONE can sip his coffee doin' .83 adjusting his block altitudes and waypoints.....LOL! Just kiddin' dude. Don't take it seriously homie. We're ALL in the system.
Personally, I much rather do .83 in all weather while I sip my coffee and pluck away at doing my revisions. No disrespect to the rotor heads though. I showed this vid to a buddy who used to fly 22's and 44's before he moved up to the big game flying 76's for US Heli and he thought it was pretty funny
yeah, you can enjoy being a system operator and not a fuckin pilot. Cause the "pilots" in commercial airliners are more system opreators than actual pilots. they just click on the buttons and shit, while helicopterpilots actually have to fly the aircraft. Suck on that fuckin poserhomo
@Learjetjock no thanks. sipping cofee at .83 isnt flying. bushflying is flying. flight levels and mach numbers are the furthest off of flying as you can get. and the funny thing is that many "learjetjocks" and airliners say they have 30. 20, 11, 14, thousand hours but its all on autopilot. that doesnt count. in my book anyway. Happy landings!
An older Shit Hook driver told me years ago, "It's heavenly to fly...Yet is it Devine to hover." And BTW, hats off to the recip grunts in the weeds, killin' snakes with that Damn 'T' bar...Too bad no one has come out with a really affordable turbine that can compare w/the piston.

Got to be a student pilot. I would have about shit myself if that was my student. As we say in the airlines, helicopter pilots are pilots with no place to go.
Well, a lot of pilots fly both. Like myself. I guess sometimes I don't want to have places to go, and sometimes I do. So there you go, we have an extra option that you guys don't have. Hah.
@jock150 i could land my plane on an oil rig. lol just dont ask me what ive done to it LOL! but my hats off to chopper pilots. a thousand parts flying in formation!
Pretty funny jetjock. Don't think some ppl took that the same but oh well. Flyin' a bunch of parts around in close formation, vibrating your fillings out inbetween lil' rich kids asking "Whats Dynamic rollover?" again, tends to stunt your inner happy face. But seriously folks, ya gotta give this boy props for the recovery. Gotta be quick on the stick and easy to yank 'n dial while you're toe tappin' to get your ass outta the fire. Learned that years ago poppin' Bambi buckets in a UH-1B w/the DOF
@helipilot3333 But it takes you two weeks to go from New York to Milan. No thanks, I much rather like my cookies and coffee up top and clicking off the autopilot at 1,000 to go. Leaves more time for "experincing" the experince.
owner of hotel next to me did that two days ago but not as lucky r 44 writen off burst into flames pilot jumped out covered in fuel but thank god got far enough away before it blew up one of rotor blades found two fields away
i guess he should have listened when the instructor said 'don't take your hands off the controls until the rpm is rolled down and the frictions are on'!
I guess that's what mast bumping would look like (but in this case without the low-G). Luckily he didn't chop his own tail off with the main rotor. It was very close if you look well.
hello yes the bus go faster and paid better, and we get more pussy as a benefit

The FAA should get him out of the skies.

they were almost there. Just settle the collective down and you made a perfect landing. That did look scarry though.

whats with all the FS 2004 or FSX pilots commenting on video's like they actually know what they are talking about and haven't flown real aircraft.
Go to their Profiles and there is nothing but FSX videos, lul comment on this shit when you have a Commercial License and can fly real Helicopters.

this wasnt actually the pilots fault, he had a passenger that knocked the controls when she was trying to get out

That's why they call it a cockpit.

that was scary.after the 1st time it
went nose down and recovered i thought thank god for that, then they did it again!
only time i know of something similar is when a student did a low rpm buzzer check with the governor on,and got dynamic rollover.
