Just curious, what year if your 940? I want to pick up a volvo for a v8 conversion, and I can't decide between the 740/760 series form the 80s, or one fo the last RWD 940 wagons..... did you find it any more difficult to do the swap in your 940?
You know, I had this idea, too... I called it "Volvette"... I like your picture at 2:17, it really shows how to compact that serpentine down to get it in there. Is that a factory a/c compressor, or the aftermarket swap style that is smaller?
i wanna do that too to my volvo :D put a small block v8 in there, just to get the sound, fuel economy would be pretty much the same i guess, no tuned or anything.
yeah, it looks like too nice of a 940 to do that too it, but at least he took the good Volvo motor out and put a chevy motor in it to wreck. LOL That's a really nice conversion though and it sounds awsome!
Nice work mate!! im in australia and going to put one in a toyota hilux or you guys call a tacoma i think. they have a thirsty 4.0 v6. any issues you came across fitting it?

ehm, with an manual gearbox you will earn some horsepower tbh, volvos automatic i guess u have 5dr are crap.
