I recentely watch J'ai tue ma mere and I was so happy I actually understood it. Although I'm Straight, I have gay friends, and my mother doesn't quite understand what she says hurt me, because it would hurt them. And for that reason, I find myself identifying with this film, because I've lost that connection I used to have with my mom.
