  • SAMPLE BLADE RUNNA END TITLES SOUNDTRACK!

  • "Basic mathmatics, the verbal mechanics of rhymn. Behold, I crush a piece of coal and create a diamnd. on the microphone im sicker than those whove Acquired Immune Difficiency Syndromes. Every rhym i utter for hiphop luvrs will reflect forever like to mirrors facin each other. the badest m-other f-ucker let me break my style down so you dont have to wonder. I walk the b-lock wit my g-lock- c-ocked tryin to get the d-r-op on the c-ops. I blow spots, capsize boats and shipwreck yachts

  • "Whenever the head is severed from the human body with a sharp enough weapon, the brain remains conscious for 10 seconds. Thats long enough for me to give you one last message so when you get to hell you can tell Lucifer I said it"

  • @nakedyoga420 "Don't ever get it confused. Fuckin' with Canibus the human rubix cube like you got something to prove. Yo, whoever grabs the mic after me & gets booed; get everything in da club thrown at you & your crew. From Moet bottles, bar stools, fruits, food. You got an album out; you get hit w/ you CD too. Runnin' outside cryin', lyin', denyin' that you ain't the gay rapper but you got fuck by it..." That said, the album was garbage. He was indeed fed up & depressed.

  • @nakedyoga420 (Cont'd) However, I'm still reppin Bis. I got "Melatonin Magik" & I'll probably get "Lyrical Law." While they aren't ripe with punchlines, they are really good albums in my opinion. Sure, Canibus has mostly left behind the battle rapper persona but he's still fucking nice. On that note, I really can't get down with what passes for rap these days. I'm not going to bash any particular artist, but I've seriously had it with contemporary rappers to put it nicely.

  • @tonyGjr2 Yo i disagree my man... I thought the "Can-I-bus" album was a fuckin vehemoth plethora of scientific lyrical savagery.. I remember the first time I heard that album...Shit changed my life. I never heard anyone express so much anger in the most beautiful and scientific ways... I mean wit the exception of say the Wutang and Immortal Tech, noone else can stand close to his brilliance... Fuckin "Channel Zero" is coconuts my nigga... I started researching Conspiracy theories and

  • @tonyGjr2 (Cont) Aliens after I heard that shit... So much of what he said was true. "WHen out souls were sold to the heavens for technologically advanced weapons. chrystal enhanced brain implants and mind control methods...for the construction of military underground installations, abductions and cattle mutilations. experiments on human patients that take place in several subteranean bases with knowledge of genetic information. you need to fear science not satan... my god man

  • @tonyGjr2 (Cont2) my nipples get hard just thinkin about that shit. "Geomagnetic gravitational anomoly areas... that shit is true dude... Agh man. canibus was a god on the mic. he was a god send, but nooone was smart enough to see it. Did you ever hear his shit called poet laerriette? "A wise man sees failure as progres. a fool divorces his knowldge and misses the logic and looses his soul in the process. obsessed with nonsense like a charicature that holds no content" thats art

  • @nakedyoga420 Of course, I've heard of "Poet Laureate" & "Poet Laureate II." That said, Bis summed up my feelings about hip hop when he said "From an extroverted point of view, I think it's too late. Hip Hop has never been the same since '88. Ever since it's become a lucrative profession, there's a common misconception that a movement in any direction is progression...& No one gives a fuck no more. No one goes to the book store ever since the confluence of Moore's Law..."

  • @nakedyoga420 (Part Two) That line goes hand in hand with when he said "I'm tired of the same rappers &...90% of the shit rappers kick is subject matter-less; not original but blasphemous. Just a bunch of the same characters shooting the same videos; just embarrassing; using the same formulas that have a hit; using the same actors, same actress; same shit different laxative..." That's what I'm saying is wrong with Hip Hop nowadays. It's formulaic. add A+B=record sales. SMH

  • YO this was the only dope song on this album... The rest of that shit was garbage.. This song was written at a time where canibus was at like a low part of his career... I felt bad for him man. He was depressed and shit... He was so sick and nonne could see it in him. Hes like a brilliant artist who noone loved or respected until after they died. Canibus has some of the sickest lines ever... Jesus christ hes the reason why i Majored in English Literature in college

  • @nakemakes me depressed how he is so un noticed.

  • Its a shame im only 16 and i am like the only one listen to real Music i dont se why everyone has to listen to the Most popular Music wearing the Most expensive clothes i am from Sweden and i understand every Word canibus says can anyone Tell Me why hip hop has became more violent and more about bitches Cars Money

  • @pontus227 (Part One) The reason for the shift is the McDonaldization of rap (I refuse to call it Hip Hop). That is, McDonald's was in the past more about the quality. They were innovative too & came up with new ideas. Then one day, someone decided to standardize everything; prizing quantity over quality. This in turn sucked all the originality out of it. Same bad burgers day in & day out. They make more money but the new burgers pale in comparison to the old style ones.

  • @tonyGjr2 i got some friends listen to real hip hop to but rakim said in a interview that hip hop is just going through a phace or something but i dont now man havent you wonder how hip hop would be with all the good mcs dead i mean when bis krs one or rakim or some other legend dies its going to be a sad day really

  • @pontus227 I too feel they are the last of a dying breed; However, there are some good new artists, though they are largely ignored by the record industry & the public at large. Ever heard of Damo? He's an Australian Lyricist. The accent bothered me a little at first, but then I began to understand what he was saying. His tracks "Show & Proved," "Don't Want It," "Bermuda Triangle," & "A Tear in the Ocean" are really good. Akala, Passionate MC & The Last Emperor are nice too.

  • @tonyGjr2 i should check them out man thanks know last emperor though hes one of the best mcs ever

  • @pontus227 (Part Two) And since younger people never tasted the older, better style burgers, they don't know how good it use to be. The youth, by & large w/ some exceptions, continue to buy McDonald's b/c they don't have the old McDonald's food to compare & contrast. Same with rap. It was standardize to make more money & gangsterism happened to be the hip thing at the time. As such, a business model was formed around it & rap outside this model isn't consider a good investment.

  • @pontus227 (Part One) Until there's a mass exodus away from gangster/bling/cash/bitches/rims rap, the record execs will continue to promote this God awful music while shelving material like this. Luckily, young people such as yourself are waking up to the fact that garbage is pushed on y'all when you deserve actual rhythm and poetry with emphasis on being poetic; the actual artistic component of rap.

  • It's a shame that Canibus didn't explode to mainstream recognition like some of those so called 'rappers' who rap about money cars and bitches. Canibus is one of the best MC's I've ever heard.

  • @SatanR1 Welcome To Earth <3

  • Hands down one of his best songs ever,.

  • @taintedeyez couldnt have said it myself bruv

  • this freestyle>>eminem

    nuff said

  • Awesome lyrics. Awesome instrumental. I love the Bladerunner sample.

  • dude gos so much deeper than 99.9 percent of rappers.....

  • somehow slim shady is compared 2 him

i h8 how ppl thot ll cool j was betta cuz of name

label neva matters actions speak louder than words

the same names get thrown around jus keep in mind there is a best

  • One of the most underrated album.

  • when you hear this song slap yourself then hear it again

    real talk

  • for every1 still comparing the C to EM!!!! this is it EM is clever using syllables in word play but CANIBUS IS A FuCKING GENIUS AT LINGUISTICS!!! there is no comparison!!! the only other MC that raps like him is pharoahe monch!!

  • @HappyBirthdaySANTA true dat

  • Sorry, I think Bis has Em. Em's album's are whack/corny and the ONLY time he really rips is when he's on someone else's track. JUST IMO.

  • one of the only songs I actually like off C true hollywood stories. that "Round the outside" shit eminem referenced later in his song "without me" - interesting.

  • no one is in his leaque

  • @phillyprodigy nope. never were. never will be. besides Bis' rap pretty much sucks.

  • taintedeyez,

I couldn't have said it any better. This dude is just the best that there is, was, and ever will be. There are a couple that are in his league. But he is the best.

  • @dieselbacks2010 Close between him and K-Rino

  • @Nosoop4yu

I love K-Rino, but... Canibus is on an even higher level than that. Songs like 100 bars, Beast From the East, K-Rino couldn't hang with that. This song here is not some of Canibus's best work, but his best stuff is literally other-worldly.

  • Comment removed

  • @AllPro777 Hmmm not true I'm knowledgeable to every song canibus has ever done since 92, and K-Rino since 89 and trust me K is just as good canibus is a better lyricist but Rino is more clever.. I actually like Canibus better but K will always be #2.

  • @Nosoop4yu

We'll agree to disagree. But your comment doesn't make sense, because if K is #2 as you put it, that would mean you agree that Canibus is #1 and therefore better, lol.

  • @AllPro777 , have you heard those canibus tracks from 93 he had with webb in THEM? that was 93 & he was spitting on the same level he was spitting on in 97-2000 canibus just can't be topped when it comes to lyrical skills IMO!

  • That dpi line was sick just because of the fact it's so simple and shows he knows what he says.

  • Furthermore, I could name dozens of Bis tracks that define his better use of the English language in an industry based off words from this language. Channel Zero, Divine Poetry, Poete Laurete, 100 Bars, Any of his freestyles, Speaker Creatures, Pine Cone Poems, C of Tranquility. Problem with Bis is that unfortunately we live in a world with many under educated shit dicks that think knowledge is worth less than a few hours in front of the TV, so his message isnt always understood by R-TARDS

  • Kill3rFr3nchfry - Your user name suggests your maturity level. Little leet speaking geek :)

  • Dude, dont joke yourself Em is BLAND nothing to say about RELEVANT future human progression. He can only speak about personal baby mamma drama. Em sold credibility for main stream fame. Bis continued to experiment with rhymes in the lab while LAZY FUCKS DESTROYED HIP HOP WITH SHITTY DIGITAL VOICE MANIPULATION, BASIC VOCAB VERBALS AND BLATANT STEALING FROM REAL ORIGINAL ARTISTS. RICH ENTERTAINERS DID MORE DRUGS FRIED THEIR BRAIN CELLS AND SPAMMED YOU SHIT AND HAD THE NERVE TO CALL IT ART

  • @taintedeyez Great to have a fellow humans who think and not just laugh at stupid punchlines if you even wanna call them that.

  • can someone send me the mp3?

  • this iant off mic club it offa c true hollywood stories.

  • its off mic club too this was the prequel mixtape to c true

  • nah man this mixtape 2004. c true is canibus 2nd album.

  • it was on mic club 2 i have this mixtape

  • True Hollywood Answer

  • o my bad 3rd as you can see the pic in the vid says VOLUME ONE MIC CLUB MASTER!!!! okay listen to all of his albums jesus...its still an ill assssssssss track.....

  • yo did he diss em?!

  • yeah em and canibus been rivals

but they keep it on a professional level

  • that, i didnt kno i thought they was going at it n and out of da studio. so this was lke a nas/jay z thing huh?

  • A lyrical legend. What kills me is the beats Canibus gets are often weak and yet he still spits some ill rhymes over them.

  • like i said before, the greatest there is! the true rap god. ther are good ones but hes at the top.

  • "What do you want me to rap about? Go ahead try a theme; give me a person, place or thing, I'll create the time and scene; somewhere in Afganistan, USA survival teams keep an eye on their surroundings in the Jihad regime?"

  • he's the best yet

he can really rap about anything any place any time... any where on any day of any year.....

he rhymes with mad confidence in his voice you can hear the tone and he keeps coming up with new shit...he has stood the test of time for 10+years and keeps getting better....only nowadays he is teaming up with better producers, he really needs to get a permanent producer that can keep up with his lyrics like stoupe

  • beat is from the blade runner soundtrack by novalis

  • This track was sick. Too bad it didnt get that much views. Gotta download this!

  • i wish i knew if he got this beat from some old song by another artist..it jus sounds like he did..so if any1 knows if he took this beat from som old track..lemme know..thnx

  • Yeah man its sick! :)

  • Canibus is a living legend, but this track is not up to his level. This beat would be amazing for story telling.

  • Might not be up to HIS level but its well above most underground emcee's haha.

  • Oh word, no doubt.Any emcee period.

  • dope track, Havent i seen you n Canibuscentral??

  • yeah i post at cc

  • Nigga is a Phenom!..

  • Classic tune originally on CTHS

"Even my worst album was sublime"

  • you're right.. this is sick
