We really shouldn't make an xb for racing. No matter how fast it can go, it will still have too much WIND RESISTANT! Its like a big block running through wind. Its best to choose a different car with better aerodynamics. It would be better money spent. kudos anywho.

my buddy and I both have xB2s. we were on I88 when a Mustang pulled up next to us. we ended up racing for 5 miles down the highway, hitting 120mph, and smoking the 'stang in the process. we pulled off to get gas and the guy followed us. when we got to the station he asked us what we were running. i took off pissed off when he found out that we were running stock 158s with only aftermarket CAIs. proving the point that it's not the car, it's the drivers.

keep in mind that all the money that he spent on trying to get that extra hp, he could have just traded that pos in for a v6 or v8 mustang and put a procharger (any supercharger will work) on it. Now i hope you know that any size motor mustang v6 or not, that pos will never come close to a mustang that is supercharged

Oh and the new xB's are NOT gutless. They have the same 2.4L engine in them that the Toyota Camry and Scion tC have which is rated at 158 horsepower. The '08+ Scion xB's are actually faster than an '08 Honda Civic EX to 60mph.

The 149lbs torque was obviously the stock numbers which are about the same as a Mazda 3, Honda Civic, etc.

its about the gear ratio jack ass a gt500 isnt worth a shit in the quarter because of its 3.08:1 gear ratio wich is good for top end i run 3.73:1 in my car and have clicked a 12.9
