  • They sound so good!!!!!!

  • Sounds like a garage band. Nice pirate shirt

  • I'm just totally grooving along with this. Great to hear again!

  • Incredible that they could still sound THIS good 40 years later! I was about 15 when this came out and I remember being blown away by it. Never imagined a Supremes song could sound this different and HEAVY YY haha

  • @deserthawk1 still so good. i was about teen years. good tune

  • I saw Vanilla Fudge and Blue Oyster Cult front row at a Narcotics Annonymous party and almost relapse with RUDY SARZA!!! They still rock after all these years!!!

  • fuck you all, where is the shot of the drummer and bassist!!! FUCK THIS VIDEO!

  • Perfect , what a voice

  • Still kicking ass nov'11 tangiers akron! What a blast!

  • This song just NEVER gets old! And they continue to keep it sounding fresh!!

  • @hardrockguy I was 19 when this song came out. Them and the Cream.

Does anyone know which band came out with this song first? Them or Diana Ross Supremes or the Cream

    Young Rascals; Or anyone else?

  • @hercules7740

The Supremes came out with it originally on Motown Records.

  • @hardrockguy Yeah man, my ex-ole lady loved this song!

  • @hardrockguy yea, they did!! I was in a band "sound mach" and we played this song in our set. Ray Rhodes had a hammond B-3, and it was KICK-FUCKING-ASS!!!

  • I hope they're at NAMM in 2012, cos I'm gonna be there...Does anyone know if they'll be there?

  • awesome sound !!! awesome musicians !!!

  • 太陽に吠えろがデビットボウイのスターマンかと思うと

    スターマンはバニラファッジがモチーフだ!!結局!!

  • I'm only only 45 yrs old but these guys can jam. I love their brand of music man. Classic rock will always rule.

  • Let's all drop some acid and chill !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch the walls move round and round. I miss the days when this type of music was so popular. They still sound great!

  • I saw them at the Fiimore East in 68 or 9 ,can barely remember.

  • AWESOME - they have only gotten better with age!!!!

  • Great song, but where is the bassist, Tim Bogert?

  • I saw Vanilla Fudge back in the day--They were awesome!

  • when we played this song the people would stop and just listen no dancein the were frozen this song gpt us a lot of gigs

  • "To hit in high school. The training is hard. I'm a good song!"

  • The Ed Sullivan performance is legend!

  • what a fucking beast is carmine appice

  • January 18 2008... almost exactly 40 years after they played this song on the Ed Sullivan show (Jan. 14 1968). Too bad the camera work in the '08 clip is the worst since the invention of video.

  • @newtowndj2010 this song was first done by Dianna ross

  • @duxberry1958 Actually, the original song was done by the Supremes. Diana Ross was the lead singer, but the group was the Supremes.

  • @DominickFontana DUH!!

  • @genman57 Why the sarcastic remark? I was replying to duxberry and he incorrectly said the song was first done by Diana Ross. It wasn't; it was done by the Supremes. Diana Ross also had a solo career after the Supremes and if you say Diana Ross did it first, it implies she did it as a solo number. She didn't. It was a Supremes song; NOT a Diana Ross song.

  • You Keep Me Hangin' On --kim wilde is better

  • I was there with Keith StJohn. Cool!

  • Groovy man groovy

  • One of the best covers ever. great arrangement.

  • these guys still have it great sound

  • My favourite Fudge song

  • I used to love to sing this in my rock band Neon Rainbow way back in the 60's. I got goose bumps everytime we played it. Some songs never die.

  • i saw carmine at a clinc a couple years ago...he's still got it

  • why is hacksaw jim duggan playing with vanilla fudge? I want mark dangit!!!

  • Loved this band. First saw in Hawaii at the Honolulu International Center, HIC, back in 1970. Later around 1971-72, another band rose out of the ashed of Vanilla Fudge called, Beck, Bogart and Appice. Great 3 piece power rock trio.......

  • Hmmn, The Outstanding Musical Genre` ....like their Premier on the Ed Sullivan T.V. Programme. IS Tim Boggert Still alive? I Noticed Hes' Not in This Video from the Anaheim NAMM Convention. Mark STEIN has Straightened his Hair, Vinnie MARTEL has Grown his hair Fuller, and got heavier glasses , CarMine APPICE has Gained weight and stopped Pumpin' Iron...however,Hes' Still VERY alive and Able on the Drums ! Wheres' Tim?? ! The " FUDGE can Still BAKE 'EM UP !!

  • music was so incredible back then i didnt even think of drugs or alcohol.... its wasnt until after experiencing the greatest musical times ever... james brown 1968, iron butterfly 67 my elbows were on the stage...leon russell 69, 3 dog night 69...dissapointed in anything that came along after that i had to have something, entertainment and synthetic, liquid entertainment! yeah!

  • Thanks for uploading, people still sleep on these, fuckin excellent band,Mark Stein killer voice.Thank fuck we have video,or we would never have heard of them.

  • Ain't no days like the old days....hahahahahaha

  • No shit must've been the same shitty production company that traveled with The Who for decades and made sure we never saw John Entwistle rip Townshend a new one every night.

  • Where´s the bass player? And who made this video, the keyboarder´s mother? But it´s a great band anyway.

  • Modern music sucks!! Todays bands don`t have this kind of energy...

  • Sorry . Tim Bogert is not in this video.

  • Fucking Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Vanilla Fudge , Wonderful !

  • Creme Brule.

  • Great band and song. To bad Ol' Steve couldn't figure out how to pan and tilt the camera....geesh!

  • Wow! Just discovered these guys, the keyboards/singer is awesome.

  • WTF! Super great!!! still the best, fucking rock out band! wow, wish I could them see them again! thanks for the post still doin it

  • @765tony Long island New York

  • Kick Ass rock and roll

  • need " the break song"

  • Veteran musicians and singer play a hot rendition of the most unique arrangement of a Supremes song ever; originally recorded by Vanilla Fudge in 1967. Thank you for posting. I guess I'll have to check out the convention!

  • TIMELESS!!!! Sounds as great as it did in 1969...

  • Yo estoy contentos que ellos todavia esten tan lucidos despues de tanto acido, y que sui musica sea tan buena como la que hacian en los queridos años 60's.

  • awesome song and band-- takes me back-- but damn- lose the mullet

  • I love this new style , thank you YouTube for such a wonderful thing

  • LOL. Been there done that.

  • its even better on 8 way orange sunshine

  • Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's great!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Really great stuff \m/

  • Original members: Vinnie Martell on lead guitar, Carmine Appice on drums..... that's Bill Pascall doing a terrific job on the lead vocals & keyboards - couldn't see who the bass player was....Pete Bremy?

  • @Janison2001

If Vinnie, Carmine and Bill are there, you can bet thats Tim Bogert on Bass. Apparently this video is focused more on Bill because he is singing the song. Carmine is a close personal friend of me and my wifes. I dont understand why the video doesnt focus on him as much. But ok, at least show Tim on Bass. Last I saw and partied with these guys is a few years back at the House of Blues in Hollywood, Ca.

  • I thought it was a great cover myself. Thanks guys!

  • Are there any original members here? I don't see any...

  • +5 from greece

  • うお~!!いいね~

    感(^人^)謝

  • Tim B definitely added a special talent and personality to the band. Although this keyboard player does a great job, Mark Stein was the key.

  • Wow this isn't what i was expecting. I saw vanilla fudge at Ramshead (not ramshead live that is :) ). It was all 4 original guys and they sounded just amazing. In this video they sound like, well crap. I hope all 4 come back around again, I would see them in a heart-beat.

  • Vanilla Fadge!最高!

    すばらしい!!

  • some velvet morning fudge super vanillllllllllllaaaa okkkkeeeeeyyyyyy. guitar lory 51

  • what a lame crowd. wish i was there vanilla fudge is badass

  • That's because they're all old.

  • TAKES ME WAY WAY BACK AWESOME!!!

  • vanilla fudge without tim bogert is like fudge without vanilla.

    ;-)

  • Bill is a creative man along with Carmine on the drums and also Vinnie on bass. I love their style of music , so thank you for the show.

  • @Nuudles12 where was Tim Bogert?

  • @Nuudles12 But the guitarist, he's no good?

  • Bill Pascali and Carmine Appice , these guys are really nice people and you can bet your botton dollar,I have his cd called Pascali Project and it is a blast ,I love every song on it . thank you , my friend.

  • Nothin' in this world will ever compare to a Hammond B3 & some kick-ass Leslies.

  • Legendary.. as in always..

  • @TREYOLDHIPPIE Ya I had their album in '68..turned a friend in an R&B band onto this song..and they actually played it!!!

  • that is Bill Pascali of the New Rascals i am glad to be a good friend of his and he is a real nice person, i could not have picked a better friend and he is a blessing to me and my family. thank you for the post.

  • No that is not Mark Stein, that is Bill Pascali a great friend of mine, he is the lead singer of the New Rascals. I see someone don,t know their legends and what a shame. Carmine Appice is great on those drums, So please help keep their legacy alive OK. Thank you.

  • Yeah, doesn't look like Mark Stein and not seeing Bogert with Appice just isn't the real Vanilla Fudge .... :>(

Man, 'back in the day' I went to see the Fudge ever chance I could - a fantastic show everytime. Boggert was always incredible as was Carmine.

  • Is that Mark Stein? Does not look like him...

  • Where is Timmy????

How can you forget the skilled bass player!

  • @mojo81 I think the keyboard player ate him.

  • wow!! i'd LOVE to see this band live!!!! thanks for uploading...
