  • Magical

  • THANK YOU.

  • My list of uses for a time machine:

    [x] Kill Hitler

[x] Have some wine with Jesus

[x] Party with the ancient greeks

[x] Prevent the burning of the Library of Alexandria

[✓] Score a front-row ticket to Camel performing with the London Symphony Orchestra

  • REMARKABLE LIVE RECORD, THE BEST ONE BY CAMEL! Moreover the tracks from the concept album "The Snow Goose", in this orchestral version are beautiful!!

THE BENCHMARCK FOR THE BEST MELODIC SYMPHONIC PROG!!

  • Bardens and Latimer are great, but the real unsung hero here is Andy Ward, shit this guy is like a fluid combination of Bill Bruford, John Bonham, and Jim Capaldi! one of the best drummers from the seventies, or maybe just one of the best drummers period

  • The Snow Goose is the greatest album ever recorded.

To tell a story in music alone, portraying characters and events with no lyrics and to make it sound so utterly beautiful and emotional is genius of the highest order. I confess, it makes me cry every time I listen to it.

No other band could do this.

  • The real prog gods

  • No win can be more epic!!

  • Andy get better and back on stage!!

  • Pura emoção. Extraordinario

  • Oh my dear friends........how much it is rare these days to find such a pure, bittersweet music. There are some people who without them, world will be a hard place to live.......and for sure Camel is one of them!

  • Que bestia que tal musica!!!! fuera de este mundo que banda...

  • Top of the bill, Snow Goose is one of the greatest albums.

  • The thing I love, for me, is that, progressive rock bands of the 70's wrote stories. They composed music to tell something to make our imaginations rise. it certainly helped to be a little 'tuned up' as it helped to get into it deeper. I remember hearing Pink Floyds Dark Side in quadraphonic in a very 'tuned' state. Nothing has come close since. Ah memories

  • gives me snowgoosebumps every time

  • This live cd is better than the snow goose album itself!

  • I can't believe they pulled off a version which is just as good as the original live. AMAZING!

  • someone can tellme in what year was this concert,I think is better version than

    `84. please answerme.

  • 1975. The tour of The Snow Goose album. This version is from "A Live Record," which features the entire Snow Goose album performed live at The Royal Albert Hall in 1975. The album also have live versions of some songs from Rain Dances, Mirage and Moonmadness as well.

  • Inolvidable.

  • Beautiful...camel...the bests melodies... :**

  • I wish I knew Camel was so underrated, or stayed somehow unknown. Maybe, their tunes had few lyrics, they were mostly instrumental.

  • I have knowing through a crazy flautist that is a friend of mine,he was say to me,take this lp and litsening,I think you`ll like too, it was in the `80 years, and since this age I follow the band.I have no word to say I think it`s only heart and soul. only music in pure state.

  • This and Steve Hillage's Live Herald are two of the best 70's live albums.

I listen to both frequently to remind me how good the music was then.

  • Thank you Andy and Co. for making such magical music. It is sheer joy listening to the music of Camel.

    Get well soon!

  • Amazing...

  • Pure Poetry....no other band played so well with orchestral arraignments...such restraint, nuance and poise...one forgets they are hearing amplified instruments

    saludos camelona :)

    cristian chile

  • wunderschön!

  • I have followed them since 1975 and they have always and will always be UNBELIEVABLE, BRILLIANT, STUNNING, MUSICAL KINGS!!!!

  • probably the most beautiful music I've ever heard...totally agree

  • Excelent band, excelent cd, excelent musicians. I wish there were more bands like this nowadays. Hope Andy gets better soon. And thank you, camelona08, for this song.

  • you're welcome :)

Camel was, is and will be a great band as long as Latimer is there playing his guitar in a way only he knows... but I love it with its original members in early and middle 70's... I get goose bumps every time I listen to them even now after over 20 years I found them.

  • Latimer is fantastic, indeed. But, as I am a keyboard fanatic, I just love Bardens playin also. It´s impressive how they interact so melodically and beautifully. They are a perfect match!! Andy Ward drumming is just amazing also. Thanks!!

  • @camelona08

    Correction: snow goose bumps.

  • It's been 6 years that I've found Camel and I can get enough of listening to them. This performance of "Fritha Alone" is their best. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the nice comments :)

Wish I had been there among the audience...

  • Absolutely beautiful performance. The Snow Goose is a masterpiece, and the live album is beautiful too.

  • camel for everrrrrrrrrr!!!

  • Camel are the most underrated band in the world! It is really a shame;on the other hand they have been very anti-ommercial and that honours them!!!Latimer is a genious.

  • this is cream bro!

  • a friend introduced me to Camel in 1979..flight of the Snow goose is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever made..we would crise town in our musclecars listening to Fritha and Fritha alone..I know those cruise nights and Camel dont usually go together, but we liked it

  • Not many people visiting does not mean Camel is bad. Camel is simply unknown to most people, they never made it big. But those who come into contact with Camel are most probably hooked forever. This is music at it's best. The melody of most Camel songs are just beautiful.

I personally do not care if nobody else liked Camel, it's enough that I do and enjoy their music. Andy Latimer is a Guitar genius.

  • Ricordi della musica che ascoltavo a 15 anni:))

  • GREAT

  • great performence for a great song... awesome
