  • can it be used with logic?

  • i think your toms is tuned to high, it's almost a tropical feal they give :-)

  • Hey is it possiblet to hook up a rack compressor or a rack noise gate with this interface? I see at the back it has 8 output channels that are 1/4 inch jack inputs..

  • you remind me of Randy from George Lopez, his mom's boyfriend hahah

  • i hawe better sound with 1 akg c1000s all in 1 trach :p

  • @mattissius14 XLR or 1.4" cables - the ports fit both.

  • Hi, I am looking to get this, and wonder if my laptop can handle recording so many channels at once, what are you using for a computer? My laptop has an intel i5@2.4ghz, 8GB DDR3, and a solid state hard drive for comparison. I would rather not bring my i7 desktop down to the basement to record.

  • you added the effects and compression from the software that comes with the interface? or did you do that through pro tool plugins?

  • I suggest you get a good pair of condenser mic's for overheads, that way it gives you a cleaner cymbal sound and some room ambience to spice up the drums :)

  • when the drums are recorded are they all recorded into one track or is each mic recorded as a seperate track e.g snare-track 1, kick track 2?

  • @velocityrock124 Each mic is recorded into a separate track.

  • @civilizedsavages awesome, thats what I am looking for!

  • is that the straight out normal sound coming from pro tools or whatever program your using or have you used equalizers??

  • @Brok3nCarlos this sound is clean coming into protools, some eq and compression is added within pro tools.

  • what does it mean for it to be 2.0?

  • @TheBluesguitarman I'm might be wrong, but are u talking soundwise, because I know surround sound there is 5.1 where its 5 speaker, and a bass, 1 in the middle, 2 in front at an angle, two at the back in ana ngle and a bass, I'm guessing maybe 2.0 are two speaker/monitors so stereo pretty much

  • @TheBluesguitarman sorry, I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything lol

  • @ShortBrownMC yeh i knew USB 2.0 but i wasnt looking at it from that perspective

  • Nice

  • Great drumming and m-audio sounds alright. Sweet!

  • dude tune those toms.

  • Hello, I was just checking your video and I have a couple questions it would be great if you can help me :

1- I have shure drum mics with XLR cables, I noticed but checking out the rear view picture that I need different cables for that ... what are those ? Speaker cables with XlR from the other end ? what are they called ?

2- Also will this work with CUBASE LE on Windows 7 ?

    Thanks

  • @CharbelSalem 1.) All my mics have XLR cables, the other cables are for my monitors.

2.) I don't know about its compatibility with cubase.

  • is this mix dry? or is it e.q. 'ed

  • @sumvengeance I added a touch of EQ and compression, but not much.

  • with the akg d112 try it around the other way as in black side to the skin

  • your bass mic positioning is unfavorable! got stick it in at least two inches into the porthole. try experimenting with that, happy jammin

  • @956miggz I typically do, thanks for watching!

  • nice beats! and good quality and set up. nice

  • Does it work with anything other then protools.. like garage band or reaper ?

  • @lmirabella

From what I have been able to tell, it will work with Reaper

  • The bass drum is kinda boomy.

  • Pretty awesome.
