Thanks for posting this. I have only seen these people in stills so its good to see them as they were. I don't think the long beards would fly these days!

Charles W. Penrose was an editor of the Deseret News and other papers. He became an assistant church historian in 1896 and compiled a scrapbook of church history called the "Journal History of the Church." He also wrote a popular series of missionary pamphlets before being released in 1899. He became an apostle in 1904.
