I am sorry but this is the first and only periodic video that gave me less than I expected. For example you could have shown the beautiful color of Potassium Permanganate and its power as an oxidizer. In fact, why don't you do a whole video about KMnO4, since it's an interesting compound and you don't have a video about it yet, do you?
@Every1Tubes No thats osmium. Os is latin for smell or something like that because it often reacts with oxygen in the air to form osmium tetroxide which stinks and is very toxic.
if you call the read as copy and paste this to 5 videos or your mom will die but in 3 days, just for fabor my way to my friend, I madepa and I do not pass, for fabor acedme case. this is a maldicioooooon
Wait, if selenium conducts electricity when light is shined on it, and it naturally comes in "threads", wouldn't it makes sense as a candidate for smaller computer parts? Is there some characteristic which prohibits this, or makes it impractical?
Would the amount of light needed be too large, or does the signal decay too quickly?
OR, is it being researched for that purpose, and I don't know about it? XD
Funny. One of the best and most common examples of selenium application stands right behind Mr. Einstein - Laser Printer!!! With printing drum covered with selenium.
if head and shoulders use this chemical then no wonder it stings my eyes so much. also, it strips the dye from your hair. but it smells nice and its cheap soo.... :)
I don't think head and shoulders does use it, no. Seledium disulfide's a very strongly orange compund, which turns the shampoo bright orange. It's found in some elvive shampoo (in the UK) which says "Enriched with Selenium S" on the front (S presumably stands for sulfide)
Ah, yes... that is true. You see he pauses after he says "bacteria on the scalp". I think he's uncertain, but just sticks with it to finish the story ;D

I don't think head and shoulders uses it, it uses some form of zinc, Selsum Blue is the most popular one that uses selenium I believe
