Passports will be printed in India because the current Nepali passports do not have any security features and are too easy to forge.
India is worried that the non-secure passports a French company makes for Nepal are too easy to duplicate by terrorists/illegal migrants.
India will bare the cost of the new security-proof passports it will print for Nepal.
