This movie came out when I was about 15, back when it was fun and cool to call people fags and stuff like that. Then I saw this and it really sort of made me mature and realize that gay people are for the most part decent human beings that just want to live their lives like anyone else. Just because what they do isn't what I do, it doesn't mean I should have the right to tell them to stop.

Anything that anyone does behind closed doors that doesn't cause harm to anyone is fine by me.

@NepheshAngel Neil Young has made beautiful music since 1966.Lots of great songs & music.Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen is quite good,though I have bought Neil Young music from 1967 as a kid.I felt he was fighting his ego in art.I made the mistake in 1972 of getting a Bruce album.His ego shouts so loud it drowns out some good art.Bruce S. is quite the opposite of Neil Young.We all have ego & Neil fought his for better art.
