  • Gears of Floor?

  • My kitchen already has this manually installed

  • DOOOO AA TUTORIAALLL PLEASEEEE

  • This is what kitchens do when no one's looking. :P

  • Gears Of... Floor?

  • @dirtydeedz161 I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT AHAHAH :D

  • @qwertyui335 you intolerant bastard

  • WIESO KLAPPT DAS BEI MIR NICHT!!??

Why doesnt it work tor me.. ?? xD I tried boujou, icarus, syntheyes :/ the movement of the 3d Objects doesnt match with the camera movement ... what could be the problem? Bad video quality? not enough points? haha I love it but I hate it!

  • syntheyes or boujou?

  • Augmented Reality! I almost forgot about that. xD

  • that looks impossible

  • this is fake, because the gears in MY kitchen floor have shafts! lol!

  • glitch in real life....

  • It was pulled off extremely well. Anything more probable would look photo-realistic, cause the tracking is perfect.

  • I invite you to look at my video

Tomorrow Can Wait. Thank you very much! - - - RENDERING IMAGINATION - - -

  • WHOA!!! wtf is wrong with your kitchen floor???

  • duude I hate it when those fuckin things stick out of my kitchen floor. It sucks to stub your toe on them in the middle of the night

  • how the.. how do you.. COOL!!!

  • thats very good!

  • are you sure thats canon xh-a1 footage, it looks terrible

  • Looks great!

  • reminds me of the black gears from digimon season 1

  • Wow... I would really want to know how to do these amazing things... :D

I must try to progress in cinema 4D, AE and try to find out a way to get the plugin.

  • I want to get into camera tracking, but I don't understand how the tracking software knows whether you move the camera up and down vertically, or if you are panning up and down (tilt)... can you explain that to me?

  • @shadesters

The software creates a set of markers in the footage by analyzing the footage frame by frame. from these markers, the software can determine perspective, depth, etc and creates a 3d plane and 3d camera that you import into a 3d software. In this instance the camera tracked the square tiles and was able to build data off of that.

  • @mahklo so it knows the difference between panning and tilting the camera? thats cool... does it mess up your tracking a lot? (where you have to manually tweak it) im trying to find the best tracking software for the money, and these youtube videos are the best way i can see them in action

  • will not people when they se that ask you "Are you having a farm UNDER your hous?" haha really nice dun mate :) TUMBH UP!

  • beautiful track man

  • that cant be good for ur tiles...

  • looks good

  • nice work..looks cool too

  • Sorry I haven't responded...this video is so old...I used the software just testing it out but they have a tutorial on how to do this.....From what I remmber I imported the footage into the software and had it build the camera path for me and than I imported that data into lightwave...from there I built a plane and used HDRI to light the model and set the plane visibility to false...imported to after effects with the coresponding footage and imported the gears as a TIFF sequence on top.

  • I'm using Syntheyes with modo. How do you get the gears to appear to pass through the floor?

  • @batbat0001

the floor is actually a planer polygon using a "projection map" of the footage than exported as a TGA sequence and imported into after effects for compositing.

  • mega geil

  • u know what really grinds my gears?

  • @David34343

    lol

  • how did you get this product??

  • when i try to export in syntheyes get this error: "sorry, please see the sample exports on the website's downloads" does that mean i have to buy it? im only using the demo right now.

  • how much did it cost, where did you get it? please respond in a message sent to me. if not, that's okay.

  • where did you get this program and how much did it cost?

  • Very good matchmove

  • I have the full version of Syntheyes, Lightwave, and After Effects, how do I do this?

  • @donofdeaths

    A. Shoot footage

    B. import into syntheyes and allow the software to create camera track data and export as lightwave scene.

    C. Open scene generated from lightwave and create stuff, export scene as tga sequence in aftereffects with alpha included.

    D. Call everyone to tell them what you did...make sure it is 2 in the morning.

  • @mahklo

    lol, thanks.

  • @mahklo COOL It is much more easier than I thought... :D

I must try to DL Syntheyes.

  • Both the price and the interface of Syntheyes makes it look like bullshit, but it really does get the job done!

  • @tarrizzzzzzzzz

It is an ugly interface....reminds me of windows 95 for some reason but yes, it does get the job done with pretty good results.

  • how do u get syntheye for free

  • @spymasterwade

convince someone to buy it for you...BAM!

  • Very cool. Nice imagery.

  • which one should i get, Syntheyes or PFhoe pro??

  • @CATB0XFILMS

    voodoo motion tracker. its free

  • I have a mac. so it wont work. also, you need to import everything as an image sequence

  • @magicfanatic3

They have a version for Macs...just sayin

  • @mahklo they have a version of voodoo for macs? I know about Icarus but it takes so long and the results are terrible unless you have a minimal amount of movement.

  • Shadow = turn on Ambient Oclusion now stop asking!

  • how to creathe the shadow to the object?

  • You should visit ssontech(dot)com and download the free trial version of Syntheyes.

At $400, it's worth the money to buy a legit copy and help support a great company.

No, I don't work for ssontech but I respect their product. Cheers :)

  • SynthEyes the best or boujou

  • Only had SynthEyes for a short time, but it seems that in gneral Boujou is a bit more friendly to use, but SynthEyes seems to give better, more robust results. And it's much faster. Much.

  • @jacktheelectron

    Tru dat

  • Wow! Nice match moving, the tracking's insane!

  • Can you make a tutorial?

  • It's cool that your kitchen tiles already have markers integrated ;)

  • Please tell me how to do the shadow...i can't manager that

  • in 3d studio max you can create a plane and put it under the object. Then you choose a material called "Mate/shadow", and put it in the plane. Then you have your shadow

  • @MiBmo yeah, that did make it alot easier...haha

  • @MiBmo

    I know, right...lol

  • Great work.

  • camera match is flawless, just a suggestion would now try to create something for the area around the ground and take it to the next level. you got skills though, eitherway, I enjoyed :)

  • I think, it's a good matchmove.

The camera seems to be perfectly tracked...

What software did you use for modelling and composing?

  • Used lightwave for modeling/rendering and Aftereffects for compositing.

  • is syntheyes pretty much the same thing as boujou? if you have used both, which one is easier to use?

  • syntheyes

  • Fake

  • really?

  • Yes, really.

  • no way!

  • Trust me, you can just tell.

  • By the pixels?!

  • Just by the way its not real.

  • No shit sherlock.

  • LOOOOL

  • LOL....of course it's not real, this was to test the matchmoving software.

  • lol

  • cool beans.

  • nice

  • yes...synth eyes

  • what application did you use? Syntheyes ?

  • der

  • Awesome example!!!

  • I like the idea of using the gears. And nice job with the shadows, too.
