I love this! Mostly because of your southern accent! I'm from Texas and I am studying Russian as my minor so this is a good complement to my studies! But what state did you visit?

@aggieinternational- Funny, I am also from Texas but living in The Republic of Georgia and using these videos as a compliment to my Russian lessons. My Czech boyfriend loves to make fun of my accent when I speak Czech or Russian!
This is very very helpful- been a great review for important words. I hope there is more to come! Also, I love the Southern american english accent :) Absolutely fabulous.
Hi, I'm studying Russian right now, I have a question. @ 7:27, shouldn't the "22" be in genitive form? As in dvadtsat' vtorOGO, instead of vtoroya like you said?
Суббота - just like English Saturday , el Sabado (spanish), Sabato (ital.) and Samedi (french) came from the Hebrew word Shabbat meaning peace, serenity
Воскресенье - i'm not sure , but i think it means the day of god.
Can someone explain what the days of the week mean in Russian? (In English, the days are named after Norse gods; in Latin languages, Roman gods; in Turkish, the usual activities that take place on that day (ex. 'Pazartim' (sic) or 'Market Day' (Sat.)))
What's the song's name at the beginning of the video?

Wow, Russian seems impossible to learn. They have a different alphabet, and I think it would be very difficult to learn the sounds.

This is helpful but you're going too fast for me to learn. No offense or anything.

Понедельник - Monday means the first or also после недели - after the week.(Sunday used to be called Неделя)
Вторник - Tuesday means "второй" second.
Среда - Wednesday means the middle "середина".
Четверг - means the forth четвёртый.
Пятница - friday - "пятый" fifth.
