its really cool to see kids being encouraged by pros, to show them what they really can do by removing the mystery behind music, on that i think this is a cool video. however, dr. phil is a dilettante moron scarecrow without a brain. when he wakes up in the morning he sings "if i only had a brain" as he skips to work. that man is a real putz. but whatever.. it is what it is.

no, its the guitars after the 70's. john owns many strats made in the 60's. they should make a signature model of his 3 color sunburst '64 (i think) strat. hes been playing that guitar since he joined the peppers

Yes, I mean after the whole sixties ;) I think his main strat is from 1962, It would be awesome...imagine a reliced one liki his...I would buy one definitly, he was the reason I started playing gutiar a lot of years ago.

I 100% agree, John definitely deserves some more credit and a signature Strat of his1962 Sunburst Stratocaster would definitely be good.

Besides apart from Strats, Teles and Jaguars the only other guitar I know of that he plays is a 1957 Gretsch White Falcon and Fender does pretty much everything for Gretsch apart from actually own them so you can't really say there's much conflict there if any,

So yes PLEASE FENDER DO A FRUSCIANTE SIGNATURE STRAT!

John was hailed as one of the "new" guitar guitar gods in rolling stone. What more credit does need?

Also, there's nothing really special about John's '62 strat. It's just an old strat. There's barely (if any) mods done to it that would warrant a signature strat.
