Everybody seems to be missing the power source, gravity, the flashlight starts the motion and the pendulum partially isolates it. Anyone who thinks that gravity violates conservation of energy probably also thinks the planets do not orbit and the world is flat. If there is something I disliked about Milkovic's examples of testing his units this must be it. You can easly make the bulbs on the other end light without making the one in your hand light, thats because you push it a little slower, then allmost no light is produced, but allmost the same ammount of energy is still transferred to the pendulum.

I Agree... And you can even add more than one lamp to push the pendulum and we still wont know the amount of input energy! .. Until we measure it! I suggest Ep= m*g*dh (m= pendulum mass, dh = effective pendulum amplitude height differential)

Yes I agree, mass times gravity acceleration will give you its force. Then times height or distance you will get the work it does, then measure it over time and you have energy in versus energy out.

The thing is though, that I think RHEAD here has already done that, and maybe you should ask him what his results are :)

I suggest that for input energy measurements one need to mark pendulum mass center, then to put paper with ruler grid behind pendulum, to use video camera to record heights and to push pendulum LEFT and UP when pendulum fulcrum reach starting (= max height point)!

For output E measurements one need addition to previous: 18 experiments (or 18 Watt meters) for dinamo lamp(s) + Timer recorded by video camera to calculate Work from extrapolated Power Graph(s)...

But to the measurement, I agree with you on the pendulum side, but on the work side it doesn't have to involve any generator or anything.

You can just record what its weight is, see how high it goes for each turn and see how long it takes, than you have a good measurement.

That measurement have been done by Jovan Bebic and can be read on veljkomilkovic web site. It shows 22 times "overunity".

But the same "overunity" effect we have with a single pendulum itself! Or with a spring! You don't need 2 stage oscillator for that. Just push pendulum once and see how it climb up many times more then a single input lift or stroke!

No, see that's where the pendulum is different!

This is no simple oscillation, this is a 2 stage oscillation with a 90 degree change.

I you take a simple spring, hang a weight on it, set it into motion and try to capture it, all you will end up with is a general loss in energy or at best equal.

The point is, if you tap the pendulum's rotational energy like you would normally do, then you will gain nothing.

But if you tap its centrifugal and centripetal pull, then you get many times more.

Well I use that (pendulum and spring) for illustration of Energy Conservation Law (ECL). If somebody claims that Energy Conservation Law can not be applied to Milkovics two stage oscillator as a whole system, then it have to prove that. It have to:

1. produce that excess energy

2. extract it from oscillator

3. use it for some external(!) useful Work

4. Measure that (external) output work.

5. Measure input work.

Thats the way to disprove ECL.

I really don't have much faith in the flash light test. It requires a pound and a ½ just to get it to move, then it only moves, 5/8 to ¾ of an inch. Their hands are moving a lot farther than ¾" However;; When Milkovic uses the light himself. The light in his hand never lights up & his hand only moves about 6 inches. So; if he is reaching max push to the point of not actually lighting up. He is in putting 6 to 9 inch pounds of energy. Which is exactly what would be needed to light 9 others.
