LOL, I used to watch this on MTV in the 80s on Sunday nights! Then I picked up the whole series on vhs a few years later...gone now, but not forgotten. This was the 1st episode I remember ever seeing on MTV. Although MTV eventually became notorious for all the retarded programming they ran, this along with IRS Cutting Edge and Liner Notes were the only exceptions...

I love Neil, his " Re - action acting " is great, i liked him in Filthy, Rich and Catflap, but i really missed him in Bottom, he did not want to be type cast ( I think is the phrase ) only doing slapstick / comedy was not what he wanted to do, last i heard he was doing theatre, but as they say, always leave them wanting something.

Rik Mayall (Rik) did lots of things, such as the New Statesman and a few movies. Then he teamed with Adrian Edmonson again (Vyvyan) and they did the tv series 'Bottom', which was very funny.
