Well like everyone else here, I love BC's. I have 3 now after loosing 2. One last year and one the year before. Both were 15 yrs. old. Yes it hurts to loose them but it hurts even more to not have a dog. You have a wonderful friend. Treasure her as you are doing that's all we can do.
WOW. This made me bawl! I lost my old girl six months ago today; we spent 16 wonderful years together and she truly was the best friend I ever had. I still call her sometimes when I come in from feeding my horses... I'd give anything to have her back.
aww this is soo sweet, when the 4th photo came up, i almost broke down in tears from the back it was the total spit of my grans dog meg who died almost 4 years ago now, she was my best friend, but ive got my choc labrador now sonny, i love him too bits <3

I really miss my border collie too! His name was Pepper and he was only 10 or 12 maybe and my mom had to put him down a few months ago because he had cancer. I was actually working out of town and was heart broken when I came home and realized he was gone. Maybe someday I'll get another border collie! They are the most amazing dogs!

@Mavsman22690 i know how it feels . i had a dalmation that was completly deaf in both ears from birth and some how got through the tests but we had to end up doing the same thing to him
My son got a BC after my Doberman died as I was lost without a dog around. He's so part of the family. When my son moved out he left "Tako" here on my acerage as he's in a smaller place. ( Tako short for Tachometer / rev counter as he's always full of speed and agility ) I couldn't have another breed after the unconditional love and friendship little Tako gives me. By far the best dog I have had. . errr I mean baby sat until he eventually goes to a larger house. . . over my dead body!! hahaha

But remember they are with you forever even after the have gone to rainbow bridge. I lost my BC , Blue in Novemer of 2008 after 15 years of unconditional love and still miss her terribly. But she left me with great memories and a love of Border Collies.
I had a border collie from when i was born to when i was like 16 when we had to have him put down. his name was Boomer. Best dog i ever had, im 21 now. Miss that dog. this brings a tear to my eye!! only looked this up cause i had a dream about him last night!! miss you boomy!!

Where do you live? Some of your pictures remind me of Ireland when we visited. Kimmy is beautiful. Reminds me of my Murphy that died four years ago. Now I have Katie, an adorable almost all black Border Collie sweetheart, but Murphy was my "soulmate" dog!

Lost my bc Bess 2 yrs ago and Becky last October. I love looking at everyones videos but my husband blames you all for me whinging on and on how lonely I was the beach is so boring without a mate to walk with. Good news he relented and I now have my Meg born 6th January this year and she is already my heart maybe when I get the hang of this I will post a video of her rattling door keys to be out lol.
Kimmy is such a beautiful friend to have, you must love her very much. Border collies make the very best family you could ever have. I find it irritating when people refer to my family as "pets." I think they're just jealous that my two border collies are smarter than their 'honour' student. For every ounce of attention you give them, they give back ten pounds of love. Say "Hi" to Kimmy for me (that is, if she isn't reading this herself).
I don't know why I do his to myself, very sad. We had a BC pass in Feb 06 of cancer and we still sincerely miss him.... We have 2 and treat them as part of the family. They are simply the best dogs in the world.

I had siberian husky.. the girl.. she spent with me 14 years (more than half my life), she passed away about 3 weeks ago.. i know how hard is it..
