They wouldn't pull a piece of equipment out of service just because it was coincidentally involved in a couple near misses. They only pull equipment if it has a mechanical problem or is otherwise damaged. Besides, those near misses weren't really a big deal. Both trains were going at restricted speed which means they have to be able to stop within half the range of vision. Bombardier cars have plenty of braking power to stop safely in those situations before there is any real danger.
@Locomotive450 yeah but what if it did hit the people or maybe just a car that was crossing or something like that then they would probably have to pull it. Also THIS near miss was a big deal, you can't see it but those idiots didn't run when they saw this train they were right in front of it at 0:37 (you can't see that either).
@FanOfthePADRES411 If it were involved in a collision, it would be pulled from service, but only long enough to be repaired, cleaned up and for an investigation to take place.
@Coaster3001 those losers got lucky. If 2309 gets involved in another close call within less than a week it will probably have to be taken out of service.
What idiots!
