  • The husky went wolf on their ASS!

  • I have two questions. one how was this dog trained? Any dog can b vicous and attack if no training or bad training happens. two what kinda husky is this ????? They dont get that heavy.... sigh wolf hybrid? bad owner bad reporting of breed i think. Hope the boy is ok

  • only mistake made here, was from the owner. NEVER EVER, have your husky off the leash outside. only in places that are fenced in. their instinkt to run is to big. why it attacked the kid i cant say. i have two myself and they have no problems with kids or adults for that matter. that being said, i would have to be a halfbreed, givin the high weight.

  • No Husky is 120 lbs. That's the first sign that this is shoddy journalism work. My Siberian Husky is the friendliest dog I've ever owned. He loves every person he meets on walks, and loves playing with other animals. It takes a negligent and probably abusive trainer to make a Husky mean. Sad to see the name of such a great dog tarnished by such rubbish.

  • Could not have been a purebred husky. I own a husky and he loves everyone, also no husky is 120 lbs.. Like it was said below sounds like a malamute they have similar looks but are much larger

  • Fuck the kid.

  • @mcrlopher Fuck you.

  • What - did the Husky lick the baby into a coma? I call bullshit!

  • Hahaha. ANIMALS R GETTING REVENGE AGAINST HUMANS WHO R EVEL BEWARE ANIMAL ABUSERS. Ur time has cum

  • like you said, he had a dimwit owner. dogs act the way they are due to how they were raised. if you have a problem, why don't you give Elise a call and complain to her. Ppl think that big dogs are like owning a tiger or something. You don't see ppl talking down on chihuahuas and they're angry little f*ckers. Quit letting your fear get you offended over dumb sh*t, especially dogs when you have ppl out there that know what they are doing but still commit crimes and not a dog with a dimwit owner!

  • One a husky would never attack a child. I also own a pure wolves and she is very protective of my two year old. Treats her like her own. Like I say, I say it all depends on how they are raised

  • I have a pitbull and my neighboors have a husky they CANT control at all! it jumps the fence and gets out, attacked the neighboors pit. if it attacks mine the owners gonna get reported and because I have a game pit, HIS dog is gonna be worse off. TRAIN YOUR DOGS PPL!

  • @HedgieDiva Amen. some ppl dont under the breed and dont train then the dog gets the blame pits husky bulldog doesnt matter i agree train and know your dog!

  • wow the kid shouldnt have been left by itself esp at his age, his parents are to blame not a dog, every animal is considered dangerous at some level, so whose responsibility is it to keep an eye on there kid

  • That sure ass hell was not a pure siberian husky !!!! that had to be a wolf hybrid !! this vid should be corrected or removed !!

  • this is BS, i never met a live husky before that attk kids, they love kids

  • Yes. i understand that you were just reading the article. But, by sharing this article. You are helping spread a negative representation of Animal that is others wise peaceful. When people look up videos on huskies or are trying too find out about the breed they will come across this and believe that you found it important enough to share. Its like an ugly rumor being spread. Many possible adoptions for huskies could become less likely when viewing information such as this.

  • your facts. Before attempting to report.

  • @Velveteyez24 Again.... I'm READING a news article. This is not "fact". It's hearsay, because it's a JOURNALIST that wrote the report and I'm reading it.

If anything, the JOURNALIST needs to get the "facts" before writing and publishing it in a newspaper.

  • as an owner of a husky. I would like to inform the person who decided to read the oarticle and post this. As a pervious owner of 13yrs to a pitbull. That is people like you who pop up in search engines and create a stigma in peoples minds of certain breeds. Every breed is different. Some are more the Lazy lap type... others NEED activoty.

  • 120lbs? That sounds more like an Alaskan Malamute to me as some Malamutes are known to attack for no reason. Wolves basically stay to themselves and other no one AND are protective of children!

  • i reckon it attacked him cos hes black

  • THEY ARE SO CORRECT!!!!!!!!! THE MOST OVERWEIGHT SIBERIAN HUSKY COULD NEVER WEIGH ANYWHERE CLOSE TO 120 POUNDS~~~~~~~HOW IGNORANT ARE PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE EVERYTHING THEY READ~DO YOUR HOMEWORK-YOU LOOK LIKE AN ASS FOR PUTTING THIS ON HERE~

  • @nitakasa Ha! I love this!!

People keep leaving me comments as if I wrote the freaking report!

If you want to complain about the exaggeration of the weight..............reply to the media

  • how much is 120lbs in kg? (we don't have lbs in germany)

  • not a husky, prob a wolf hybrid, and i agree the reporter didnt check his facts out properly instead he has placed the blame on a loving breed as weve had huskies and they dont attack children....

  • Lmao if this were a pitbull everyone on here would be talking shit about the dog. But yet temperament test show that pit bulls score better than any dog except labs when it comes to aggression toward people. But no since it's a husky it's the kids fault lol.

  • the kid must have done something to piss off the dog, so it probably is't the dogs fault at all.

  • tut shut up dogs dont just turn, bullcrap do they i got a malamute, he aint no agresive so eat poo

  • my aunt had five huskies, not one of them was ever aggressive, and not one of them weighed 120lbs.

  • HAHAHAHHA!! 120 lb. Husky....... -______-

I fucking wish, maybe a Malamute? Or a wolf Hybrid.. Not a Husky though.. These dogs arent aggressive, but thats not to say something could have been wrong with the dog. But to say its a Husky that weighs 120 lbs? BULLSHIT..

  • a fullgrown husky 150lb thats bs!!!!!!! a male gets between 45 to 60 65 pounds tops. i agree with one of the people commenting a wolf can get that weight a husky bullshit excuse me 120lbs not 150

  • Comment removed

  • @FUzpf

I think the boy antagonized the dog, and the owner was as pissed as the dog and let it happen. Too bad that dog can't talk to say how that kid thought it was fun to punch him in the nose.

rude kids can even annoy rational adults to wrath much-less a dog.

    ~

I understand that at the end of the day pets are animals like any living human animal, they want respect. When we degrade them we're pushing the limits of their tolerance, that's why we breed them to be, specifically, indolent.

  • it was probably a timber wolf not a husky

  • ummm husky! i have 2 and they are the most loving dogs ever! 120lbs?bull shit! my dogs are full grown and only weigh 50 to 60 pounds so sad how the media starts shit and they dont have their facts straight!

  • Ummmmm... Huskies only get to be 45-50 lbs. And if it was a Husky it was probably pissed as it's owners for over feeding it.

  • NOT A HUSKY.

  • ...probably part wolf, I doubt a pure husky would've done that and they certainly don't weigh 120 pounds either...

  • huskies are never 120 pounds. not even mals get that big. what an idiot.

  • 120? doubt it was a husky

  • You guys its not about if it was a hybrid or not obviously sometimes a dog that attacks without reason has a bad owner.just think about what that owner did when the dog attacked.. nothing so obviously if he doesn`t care for the life of that child or if the dog would be euthanize then obviously he doesn`t care about raising a dog responsibly

  • ..why would a husky attack a child?..huskies are very affectionate to children..thats all!..

  • @heartless12nirex exactly even a hybrid is affectionate in nature.

  • DEFINITELY NOT A HUSKY...120 lbs MY ASS...this article is a good way to discredit such a calm, gentle and beautiful breed of dog

  • @KimZylla I understand that. if you saw what I wrote I said that. I said I know ALL dogs will attack. This dog was not a husky. It says it weighed 120 pounds. On average a husky will weigh 45-60 pounds. So a dog that is twice the size of its average weight will not be as mobile and quick as smaller dogs. With that being said it's not going to attack.

  • NOT TRUE! I sadly don't have a husky :( but I went to a place called pesky husky and she had over 30 siberian/alaska huskies and malamutes all together. And guess what... they only licked thats it they only jumped up and licked me and my grandma. Huskies are amazing with kids. And they don't get up to 120lbs.. o.O

  • I have a husky and they r not known for aggression. You'll be much safer having a chihuahua as a watch dog than a husky. Huskys r friendly towards everyone even strangers

  • to be fair, if any animal that weighs 120lbs attacked a baby like that im sure it would doo alot more than brusises and a few cuts, a wolf hybrid huskie thing would prbably end up ripping its face off, grewsome but true, or they would do wot they normaly do in the wild nd just go for blows to the neck, this story is so wrong and cant believe its been allowed to be published

  • Excuse me? 120 pound husky? No way it couldve been pure bred. Though i believe it is possible that this breed could maul children it does not recongnize due to obssesive prey drive. But they ussually are great with children and make great family pets. I own 2 actually and they have never bitten a person.

  • its could be a wolf or some untamed dogs. siberian huskies love children.

  • not a husky, and dogs are not vicious by nature, humans make them like that

  • Comment removed

  • huskies don't weigh that much...and malamutes are known for their gentleness with children so it had to have been a wolf but DEFINETLY NOT A HUSKY NOR MALAMUTE quit hatin on huskies and do some research

  • huskies don't weigh that much...and malamutes are known for their gentleness with children so it had to have been a wolf but DEFINETLY NOT A HUSKY NOR MALAMUTE

  • Huskey are known for agression so just look it up. I'm not blaming the dog or the breed for anything. I honestly love this breed but for people to be ignorant of possible aggressive temperment irritates me. Anyways, the blame belongs to the owner

  • no im calling u an idoit for believing the story

  • Dogs only attack humans if, the human teases the dog so yh, idiot

  • @stlparkour14 Are you calling the boy an idiot?

  • @FUzupf Are you saying Siberian Huskies are dangerous? lol.. DEF not.. you are on ur own on this one...Huskies are one of the sweetest dogs and are very children friendly...Its how there trained and what type of enviroment there in - pit bull to chiwawa doesnt matter...iv never seen a siberian husky at 120 pounds. norm is 45-70's

  • @FUzupf he is right dogs only attack if taunted to or provoked huskies are loving breeds and don't normally attack random ppl unless instructed to by the owner or if it's been raised badly and only wolves have been known tog row that big not huskies

  • @FUzupf yeah i am

  • @stlparkour14 Not true. Dog attacks can occur for a variety of different reasons. Not just because someone "teased" the animal(s).

  • Ya, huskies don't get to 120 lbs, could have been a Malamute mix or something. Funny though how all dogs hate black people....very intuitive animals, they just know things.

  • @redrum1280 ur right .. huskies do NOT get that big and malamutes are known for their gentleness with children i own 2 and besides that... a WHITE malamute is very rare, it had to have been a wolf or mix

  • its not the dog its the trainer is what i always say. its like blaming a gun for a murder

  • my husky is an angel lol

  • racist husky

  • 120 pound husky? i think not. huskies are about 30-50lb dogs. at the MOST it was a mix and the dog prob has shit living conditions. any dog will be vicious if it's treated poorly at home

  • The thing is, the husky isn't the problem the owner is. Bad owners raise their dogs to be vicious and obviously the awful owner did nothing to save the small child. I'm appalled that the husky was so vicious.

  • 120 lb. husky?????? dont think so.

  • all bullshit

  • @maleman14001 of course it is.

  • @maleman14001 exactly. Husky's love kids. The child might have gotten knocked down but do you see anything resembling a dog bite? The dad here probably just doesnt know dogs and was afraid. He punched a 120 lb dog and didnt get hurt? Guess why, the dog wasnt trying to hurt you.

  • @maleman14001 Why, because it's not a pitbull this time?

  • i cant believe dat im sorry i hav a husky n ive been never alot of em ive never known em 2 b aggresive especially 2 a child like dis dis is jus ridiculous somthin in dat story is off..

  • NOT A HUSKY PERIOD WHO EVER HEARD OF A 120 LB HUSKY MAYBE A WOLF OR A BAD MIX HYBRID BUT NEVER A HUSKY AND I WISH THE REPORTER GOT THE FACTS RIGHT BEFORE PUTTING THAT LIE OUT THERE. IT'S BAD ENOUGH THAT A CHILD WAS ATTACKED BUT TO PLACE BLAME ON A LOVING BRED IS JUST WRONG

  • @TAMPEP I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!! 120 LB SIBERIAN HUSKY HMM.....

  • @TAMPEP i totally agree, this is bullshit, and huskies are great with children period. huskies thrive for attention as love. they dont harm unless raised wrong. and 120 pound huskies are almost impossible unless its a fat one and it couldnt do that from laziness or its a wolf so people needs to do research on the the animals they blame before they post crap like that.

  • Yah that couldn't have been a husky, an Alaskan Malamute maybe due to the size (I have a 121lb. Pure Alaskan Malamute but the more I think of it, he would hurt a fly!! I'm more causous with my Pomeranian then my Alaskan Malamute!!!

  • It wasn't a pure bred Siberian husky. They are a medium sized breed with males maxing out at 60lbs. A Malamute perhaps? All sled dogs or dogs that have a wolf like apperance are called "Huskies" even though they are completely different breeds.

  • total crap! 120lb husky??????

most loving breed out....must have been a big foot!!!!

  • 120 pound husky??

  • max weight of a husky..is 60 pounds...they are not big dogs..and are so non aggressive..they let 6 pound chihuahuas attack them.... no way is that dog a husky..Mix or hybrid 100%.

  • Husky? No husky? Chihuahuas can attack too! All dogs have teeth and can use them. I believe that if a dog is not trained properly or perhaps is provoked, then it can attack. Yes, some breeds are more temperamental than others, but my point is people should not get surprised that other dogs than pit bulls attack. I would probably attack as well, if I got provoked by someone, or if I was not raised properly - even though I see myself as a good person... But still... who knows. *shrug*

  • Any dog who is owned by an idiot & not socialized properly is capable of doing the same thing. Not just huskys. The owner should be put down as well.

  • a husky did not maul that kid, they don't get that big, show us the proof that a husky did that, if you cannot show proof, that proves you just hate dogs, period! stupid scam and lies about husky mauling kids

  • @SpiritsoftheWolf I KNOW!Ive heard that huskys are exellant with kids!Peaple are just lieing because NO DOG would act like that if it was treated well so them might of mistret it! I really dont belive a husky would do such a thing!!

  • @POKEMONF2000,yes they are, the poster that posted this shows that he hates dogs, rather than loving them, i love my dogs as they were my kids

  • @SpiritsoftheWolf i know, there such lovely dogs like pretty much all dogs there a great pet to have.I bet the dogs u have are gorgeus!Coz it sounds like u would treat them like celebs! But a husky would never and i mean NEVER do that.....NO WAY!

  • @POKEMONF2000 ....then why did the husky maul? Why did another Husky kill an infant in Canada? I'm not placing blame on the breed. It's the owners.

  • @FUzupf yea and it really dosent help that the owners attacked the dog "while it was attacking the child" I THINK ITS THE OTHER WAY ROUND!!THEY ATTACKED THE DOG SO IT ATTACKED THE CHILD,INFACT IT PROBABLY DIDNT EVEN ATTACK THE CHILD!!! I feel sorry for that husky, its getting the blame for something that it would NEVER do!!! =(

  • might be a deranged, sick dog of other breeds. i dont recall a husky being vicious. they might be rough when playing but they dont maul.

  • это сделал Хаски???? Ни когда бы не подумала=/// Ведь хаси такие миролюбивые и ни когда ни кого не кусают...они помоему вообще не умееют этого делать....Соболезную родителям

  • theres no way thaat it was a husky? suchha liie,

  • Show the husky.... i don't believe that

  • Comment removed

  • It wasnt a husky. Maybe a mix...but not a purebred. I have a Siberian Husky and he will be three in December. Go look at my page and you will see exactly how a Husky acts around people and kids. I don't know why FUzupf would even post something like this. Do you not like Huskies?

  • @jtrammell

Quotes from the actual news article that i have linked to the description box:

"A Bronx dad pummeled a 120-pound Husky with his bare hands to save his 3-year-old son"

"When I turned around, the white Husky was on [Kamrin]."

And none of the comments from the news article mention, "purebred's don't get that big" "must've been a mix."

It just astonishes me that people assume I have some vendetta on other breed's that attack OTHER than a pit bull. I don't.

  • Comment removed

  • @FUzupf All because the father of the child says it is a Husky, doesnt make it a husky either. People ask me all the time if mine is part wolf, I tell them no. If mine was to attack and the person attacked says it was part wolf, does that make him part wolf?

  • @FUzupf So because the media said it was a husky, that makes it a husky? You show me a husky that is 120lb that isnt lazy, fat, and healthy enough to attack and ill give you $5,000. I understand that all dogs attack. Whether it be because theyre agressive, provoked, annoyed, territorial. I understand that, and I also understand that ALL dogs wll attack, not just pit bulls.

  • Comment removed

  • @FUzupf

Because reporters never get shit wrong. Never. That would never happen. A 120 pound husky wouldn't be able to move.

What looks exactly like a husky and gets to 120 pounds? A malmute.

    Malmutes are highly aggressive too.

Jesus, if you believe everything you read then you must believe Dewey beat Eisenhower.

  • @FUzupf

Also, you said there was no one who said that it wasn't a pure bred. I'm looking at a post right now saying that it was probably a samoyed (Which a 120 samoyed is a joke too)

Oh what's this....another comment on there says

"I also find it odd that the husky was 120 Lbs, was it mixed with another breed? "

    hey another:

"it was NOT a husky!! DUH!!"

Way to go Encyclopedia Brown. Nothing gets past you

  • @Detroitsownson Lol!!

I love how you think I'M the one that wrote the article. I gave you the weblink to the news article.

    thank you

  • Sad, sad story. But just goes to show, any dog will attack. Although I understand how you of other breeds feel when your breed of choice come under "attack, I find it infuriating tht you only bring up a pits fighting past. Fighting is only part of a long line of different uses the "pit bull" was bred for.

  • @lovemypitty4lyfe I for one, completely understand that ANY dog will attack. But that dog was not 100% Siberian Husky. A normal, healthy Siberian Husky will be 60-70 lbs. Not 120lbs.

  • Siberian huskies do not weigh 120 lb. Had to be a wolf hybrid or malamute or malamute/wolf mix. When I was 6 months old I was attacked by my great aunt's dog, and it was just a little mutt. I needed stitches also. I don't blame the dog, particularly; the adults just didn't read that dog well.

  • Siberian huskies do not weigh 120 lb. Had to be a wolf hybrid or malamute or malamute/wolf mix.

  • @MsCaryopteris I agree, Husky's are a Medium sized breed and I think at the heaviest weigh 55lbs no where near 120, Malamute or Wolf Hybrid I would agree

  • Pure bread huskys don't get to 120lbs, possibly a hybrid.

  • @kr4yzi32k its as rare as a white huskey... not very

  • its all speculation...And if this dog (i refuse to call it a husky) insisted on attacking someone, it would have attacked the father, especially after "kicking and punching" it.

  • 1. The dog probably did have a dimwit owner.

    2. No way in HELL this dog is a husky (120lbs?) a real husky is only 60lbs or so... willing to bet it wasn't a husky.

    3. IF, it WERE a husky, which is doubtful, it was probably trying to play with the boy,

    4. Husky's dont "attack" read any article, read any book, read any internet post, huskies are fun loving animals. And they love kids!! and they're not good watch or guard dogs because they love people.

    My condolences to the victim!!

  • vicious husky.... my god........ one of the gentlest dogs towards humans ever

  • @oligould81 I agree with you Ive been living with Huskys since i was born and im 18 they are the genttlest dogs around!

  • * I am so so sorry for what happen to your son!

    * Like any breed, it is how the owner raises it, like a lil' chiwawa can be a visious dog, or you can have a sweet and gentle pit and be beaten up by that vicious chiwawa... it also sounded like a Malamute

    * I sled my SIberians, and I was actually attacked by my friends female Malamute as I past her team.. she was about 80lbs and her male 150lbs!

    * I really hope you are doing well as well as your son

    V

  • Really its the owners fault for not raising that husky correctly because Huskies only do that if they are not raised around children or raised to be vicious guard dogs

  • I am reading some of the comments and find it absolutely remarkable and to a lesser extent, hilarious that ignorant people are comparing a Siberian Husky to a Pitbull. I have grown up around both breeds and have no personal issues with the pitbull, but it is essential to acknowledge that a pitbull was bred to fight - no matter how adament one is to protect the reputation of a pitbull - the fundamental fact is that it is in their nature to fight.

  • @graceland02 Also, has anyone realised that husky attacks are always with younger children? Any husky owner would understand that a husky gets overly excited and curious when playing - and if the dog hasn't been socialised with younger children, it wouldn't understand how to play. Huskies don't 'maul' people, they play exceedingly rough when in a situation they don't understand. Pitbulls intentionally attack - purebred huskies don't!

  • @graceland02 Tell that to the parents of the infant that was in a car seat. The husky was just 'playing' with him. Now, the infant is dead and the mother in jail.

  • @FUzupf buddy you've missed the whole point of my comment - I am merely stating that - generally speaking - a husky does not intentionally attack! My condolences go out to the family, but my comment was not directly targeting this individual circumstance. My comment was attempting to demonstrate the difference between pitbull and husky "attacks". I think your comment implying that i have no sympathy for the child was uncalled for!

  • @graceland02 when did I EVER state you had no sympathy?

  • @graceland02 smart ass, know the truth and what tv shows you. 1-The mom and granny left the 22 days old baby in a car seat on the floor with 2 dogs inside the house while went outside to smoke half an hour. 2 weeks before, cops went to this house for drug dealing affair and yesterday the guy who owned the house was murdered. Now tell me it s the dog fault.

  • I have a husky. This is bullshit. Something had to have triggered the dog to do something. Btw huskies never get to 120 lbs. My dog was beaten before i had her. And she has never bit at any of us. No offense but if it was in the bronx it was more than likely a fighting dog that shouldnt have been near kids or people anyways. It also was probably half wolf and the Father didn't want to say anything about it being half wolf because there is a lot of controversy over wolf dogs. Just saying.

  • If your going to have a husky for a family pet then it better be part of the family. They have been known to attack children in the home family. It is like they are chasing prey. And they are stubborn like pit bulls you have to be very strong minded to own these dogs, you have to be the lead dog.

  • @654aly like your answer, but a 120lb husky, it sounded like a Malamute, and Malamutes are notorious of attacking even their own they attack along with family members.

  • @654aly @654aly like your answer, but a 120lb husky, it sounded like a Malamute, and Malamutes are notorious of attacking even their own they attack along with family members.

  • @apackmember2 thanks I should pay more attention to detail up top. I still meant what I said about huskies. but yes it was most likely definately a Malamute.

  • dude get the heck off youtube! you freakin suck you loser

  • @TheBob0416 I find it funny how you stick up for Husky's yet, you didn't leave a comment on my most recent Husky attack in Canada that killed a baby.

  • @FUzupf i have not looked for it nor will i

  • @TheBob0416

No problemo big boy, just scroll down to the 13th video.

  • @FUzupf what ever

  • wait wait wait kick the dogs face i swaer i kill his hole family

  • huskies don't get 120lbs! HAHAHAHAHAH, But if the story was true, it would take A LOT and I mean A LOT for a husky to maul a child... like a bad owner or the dog was overexcited and didn't know the kid from a dog (dogs have fur and thick skins! We easily bleed)... so many factors.. And pitbulls? The BSL can suck it. If raised by responsible owners, pitbulls are soooooooo sweet. If the story is true (which I think it was exaggerated-120lbs husky... just-really?) then is all the owner's fault

  • @AlienXCherie I didn't mean " the kid from a dog " like how it came out, I meant the dog probably was never taught "gentle" playing. Of course they know the species diff... Just, huskies are strong, that "gentle" command/ teaching is needed

  • thats just stupid. dogs are not born vicious, just as humans are not born racist. dog attack happen for one of two reasons

    1. the owner of the dog has mistreated it or has trained it to be a killer.

    2. the victim was doing something to the dog that he shouldnt have been doing.

given the circumstances it was the first, and in no way was the dogs fault.

  • 120 lb husky? What the hell? Huskies don't get that big.

  • wrong.

Huskies are no more than 60 lbs max. The NYC papers are a joke.

  • I love My Husky.

  • He had to do something to make that husky mad, or he wouldnt of had to put up with that. I know huskys love to play but if u be mean to it is surly is ganna kill or defend its self.

  • thats because u were mean to the poor husky.

  • I am so sorry for the boy. For someone to say a 120 pound Husky is laughable. That dog needs to be in the Guiness book of records for the biggest Husky. Please give me a break. I have two Huskies and wanted to get a Malamute, untill about four weeks ago when one tried to attack my five year old son. The MEDIA need to get this story right mate.

  • It was most likely a malamute. Huskies get to be between 35-55lbs my female husky is 13months old and is 40lbs. Malamutes on the other hand are way bigger and are over 100lbs they look a lot like huskies they are both arctic dogs. Just thought I would add that incase no one else did. Malamutes have been known to be very protective of their owners where huskies love everyone (not saying that there are no bad huskies it all depends on the owner and how they were bred)

  • just like the media to report the wrong facts. Huskies dont get that big. if it was im surprised it hasn't died yet. My Husky is 55 pounds another thing is that Siberian Huskies are extremely calm and well behaved. That was not a Siberian Husky that attacked that child

  • it could have been you never know. and huskies can get bigger than 55 pounds. all dogs can be extremely calm and well behaved but if provoked by anything, they can attack. her maybe the dog was trained to fight? you dont know, i dont know, and im assuming no one will know.

  • peolpe should really get there facts most can't tell a husky from a malamute 1 huskies are smaller and shorter hair and have blue eyes and males weigh up to 60 pounds and females weigh 55 pounds ,but the malamute has longer hair and doesn't have blues eyes but malamute can weigh up to 120 pounds and if you don't think i am right look it up

  • @cutedonnal

Are you suggesting it was the MEDIA that was incorrect on their data?

(kinda like how there's at least 3 breeds of dog that are just "Pit Bulls")

  • @FUzupf Alaskan Malamutes are often mistaken for Siberian Huskies but it is also possible that the dog was a cross breed between husky and malamute or that it had wolf in it too. As far as huskies being viscious it all depends how the dog is raised someone could have a Pit Bull (which is notorious for violence) and it could be the sweetest dog. or someone could have a Lab and it be the nastiest dog. I own a husky and a Norwegian Elkhound and both dogs are very good with kids and adults.

I thought the same thing that this dog at 120 lbs is not a siberian husky, it had to be a cross breed of siberian wolf breed, I had a hybred ( i know stupid me) 50%Timer wolf, and 50% Malamute and he was easliy mistaken as a siberian but he was long and lean, and of course I couldn't figure out a better name than "Timber" aka Timmy.... I like your post.

  • This is BULLSHIT. I've studied huskies for 3 years until I was old enough to care for my own. The average weight for a husky is 40 pounds. They aren't wide or big they just have a looooottttt of fur. This story is somewhat modified because if there was a husky over 100 pounds he'd probably die of a heart attack.

  • @Nickprovs wow im glad that the boy will be ok he might have a fear of dogs for the rest of his life.

i think that the owner of the dog should be fined and put in jail for a few years.

  • u sure it wasnt a boxer?

  • where are these people getting their info....reading comments i see people don't really know much.....yes Huskys do come ALL white...my pure breed husky is completely white....and yes they can weight over 100pds easy....i could not see my baby ever hurting anyone....he loves everybody!!! and he's such a wuss...but out of the top 10 dogs that can cause the most damage to a person...Huskys were # 4.....pit bulls # 1

  • @imnotsmartbutimtryin WHAT THE FUCKING HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU? that is not true. huskys ARE number 4, but pits are NOT the number 1. pits are number 8.
