  • whats the name of the game???

  • wat software did u use to track the cam?

  • Comment removed

  • what game ?

  • did he die?

  • what program did u use??

  • FUSCA!!!

  • im trying to hide the plane under the model infront of the background, but if i do so there won't be any shadow left, how do u still show shadow while the plane is not visible

  • What's Toby Turner's LA Noire gameplay doing in real life?

  • Is there a tutorial for this?

  • @dasdasdus there probably is, but this is complicated shit. unless you have a lot of experience with 3d modeling, a tutorial probably wouldn't make any sense.

  • @legendarywar1 Well the only thing id like to know how to do is how do track the movement on the road precysley.

  • This is just excellent.

  • Oh god, that fooled me for a while!

  • could you pleeeasseee do a tutorial on this? I dont have trouble tracking the footage or creating the 3D assets, but its merging the two that never seems to go right for me

  • nice!!!

  • Where do you get your 3d models?

  • cool 3d effect

  • How do you track the footage that camera is moving in it so fast? like the second bit. There's no tracking point to track so how can you track the road and create the 3D camera? Do you use Boujou or Matchmover? (Thanks for help)

  • With a bit more fine tuning you could make it look very real

  • Whoa! Good graphics I'd say. :)

  • is there a tutorial to make this?

  • You just HAD to make it a bug...

  • I want to know ... how did remove the side road closed work area in 0:10 on the right. It doesn't appear in the rendered version. Masking ? how did u replace it then ?

  • @wtalkie The side road work is all CGI. The construction vehicles, cones, and gravel.

  • @wtalkie

    HAHAH!!

    Thats a CG effect ROFL

  • That is cool and I am getting into 3d tracking myself with voodoo. In response to sonicballer cgi is good, but nothing compares to a real explosion, a real car crash or a stunt man actually jumping off a building.

Great video though, good use of tracking.

  • Women drivers!

  • little more work on the shadows, ect, shadows moving correct ( from light source ) ;) or else ME LIKE :D

  • how did you track the motion plz tell

  • wow, very real!!

  • the last one was great!

  • I love the second car swerving scene. How could you track the road to ad the CG car into it?

  • hi, can i ask, how did you do that lolz? and what software u used for the tracking, and how the heck u made it so realistic ^_^... student from university here, i need to know :)... hehehe ty man

  • Is this motion capture? What program did you use?

  • The last one is pretty awesome!!!, first one was a bit fake though ;)

  • to nice

  • great i love it the only thing is when the cars hit their is no debris

  • the modeling is perfect, but the texturing is a little off. I would use either a normal pass in after effects with normality (if you have it) or use a texture for the diffuse. it would be great if you use a few cameras to capture the reflections one (pointed left and one pointed right depending on where the object is).

Also, the textures look a little... dull. Cars (typically) have pretty strong colors and, well, those don't.

    Still, great try. 4/5

  • what software did you use, and can you do something like this with voodoo and blender?

  • sickkk great job

  • looked real until the punch buggy came closer.

  • how did you do the last scene with the SUV....I'm trying to do Something similar and I refuses to look realistic

  • What aspect are you having trouble with? The 3D tracking? Or is it something else? You can also message me if you want.

  • hi dave nice work, thi animation do in 3d and after use boujou , i dont kow how to do, plz help me what is steps to do like this pls reply me .

  • does anyone know of any free programs for motion tracking, or any free programs that allow to import 3d objects and edit videos, like after effects, except free???

  • Hi how you do masking objects in 3dsmax? For example: I've got footage of running guy and in 3dsmax would like to make explosion behind him.How do i mask just that guy?Is there any tutorial?

  • You can't do that in MAX. You have to use something like After Effects or similar software.

  • Right.I use program for masking called FXHome VisionLab. I was just curious if i can do it in 3ds max and save my time

  • @anglani1 well actuly you can mask using the alpha channel. first u have to render it as a png sequence and then in aae you must import it as PNG sequence, if u look in my latest video it will give you a great example

  • @anglani1 yea you can use software like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas, and to do the blowing up effect it would be easiest to use a greenscreen

  • Looks real gj

  • After Effects

  • fuck me , the right car looked so real, but the light blue had crap texturing

  • so which software to animate?

  • 3D Stuido Max for animation. Boujou for tracking

  • here's a million $ question, can anyone tell me wtf happened to the road construction that was on the right in original video when the final video was made?

  • it's not the original it's also composited into, if you look closely you can see

  • its 3d to

  • weak, its 3d to numb nuts

  • beter than what i can do but still fail

  • where is the rest?! come on!!!! i want to watch the rest!!!

  • nice!

  • allstate are you in good hands?

  • make it explode!!! make it blew up so bad, michael bay comes ask you to do it for him!

  • This would be better with shattering glass particles and mesh deformation.

  • i dont belive someone in a VW would drive like that...that is all :p

  • not bad. aside from the crash well done. 4/5

  • Awesome work! :)

  • looks great!, and for illumination??

  • 5 stars for making me believe the red car in the beginning was real.....untill the crash :P

  • same here

  • yeah!

  • make it better

  • I like it great model great lighting good shadows good composite the one tiny thing i would suggest is to make a reflection a small one so that its kin of mirrored. other wise 5-5

  • Pretty metal dude

    like the crain shit

  • why does hollywood waste so much money on real cars when they can just do this. except better

  • they want to make it realistic, and most of those cars used in hollywood and old cars not in use that have all the important parts taken out of them. so it's mostly frame and shell.

  • @sonicballer8888 because cgi is great but will never be so great as real life.. and the most directors love to do real things cgi will only be used if things can't be done in real like jurrasic park.. or like 2012 like the world is going to die... then there will be cgi.. to much cgi is not nice to look at because people can see that it is cgi..

  • @dreamerboy1231 Never? Let's see you in about 5/10 years

  • @joevictor53 umm computer graphics become better ever year and they do a good job making it photo realistic but I am working every day with cg.. and I think if u work everyday with it u know that it is cgi.. because of the animation.. it's to smooth but like I said the programs and the animation will be better every year so maybe over 10 years we will have great cg movies..

  • @sonicballer8888 Because you're retarded

  • @sonicballer8888 because "'this" also isn't cheap... it takes a lot more time to model and render a 3D car crash into a scene than actually doing it. And you achieve a much better look from doing the actual stunt.

  • @ThisPersonSaid sonicballer8888 posted that over 2 years ago.

  • @HLGJacka And that means I can't post a response?

  • @ThisPersonSaid I'm implying that people can learn things over the course of 2 years.

  • @sonicballer8888 cause real cars... look real.

  • Great work!!!

  • ya, as mentioned, the shadow for the cars are a tad blurry and look slightly different than other objects in the scene. other then that, it's good man, good stuff X)

  • holly fucking shit i thought that was real

  • where on earth did u find an old volkswagen model ive been looking for ages none of them look as good as that one

  • i like how the construction truck was so realistic looking that none of technical a-holes even mentioned it . they didnt even know it was fake

  • very nice job. shadow of the red car indeed gave it away tho, looks more blurry then the real shadows.

  • Looked good. The lighting was pretty on. The impact wasn't too good though. There was no debris, no dust, nothing. It was like two solid plastic pieces bumping together on a table.

  • GREAT WORK!!!! 5 STARS

  • that's good, i wish there was shrapnel and paint flying through the air on the first one though... but the last one's cool, wish it flipped:)

  • that red car in the begining i thought was real and not even going to be part of the crash! nice

  • Really great tracking, but the shadow of the car gave it away. The first thing my eye noticed as "just not right". Looked really great though!

  • WOW dude, that was near perfect, very impressive!!

  • tracking is pin point perfect,

    but that "crash"?

lol i was hoping that u could do much better than that.

no explosion, not particles, no dymanics,

just a collision with no damage done to either car.

  • F***ing amazing!

  • very nice work...i really like it.

  • really good (Y) well done m8

  • Nice compositing - look at my animation Bisso Cat.

  • nice man! WHich tracker program did u use? Boujou, Voodoo?

  • Thanks, I use Boujou.
