It just seems to be all in the eye part.

@DarkWonderer47 this is more closer to realism than anime or comic style or whatever.. believe it or not, this is pretty accurate.. Search some regular every day faces, you'll be surprised. The human mind focuses a lot of attention on eyes so more often than not the mind assumes they're supposed to be larger when its comes to drawing them.

There is another difference between male and female that I noticed by comparing the average male and female face made of over 60 faces. It is that the female face has larger eyes in relation to the skull. The eyeballs are bigger.

While it is true that females have slender and rounder faces than males, it should be noted that some women have very masculine faces; While some men can look androgynous.

And the tweezered eyebrow? I guess it's just me, but I can't stand those.

This was pretty good. It was probably meant to show contrast, but your male's shadows were too dark and too many in comparison to your female's. You should have taken more time to plot out facial features. Individually and at a glance, both half-faces look correct, but when put with another half they both look scrunched. It's like you thought about only half the face. One last thing: your female looks like a femmy guy, her jaw is too square and her cheekbones too flat. All around good effort.
