For all small business owners using Evernotes: I hope you tell your customers their information is uploaded into servers which aren't Sabares-Oxley compliant and don't use server-side database encryption. Your clients need to know their information will be in clear risk if their servers are compromised.

I don't really see how this does anything I can't do with my normal PC, notepad, folders etc? Like learning a new operating system, just to make some notes. And please, either kill that music or learn about volume control...

Does Evernote upload your notes from your phone when you go online with it? I have a HTC and I keep little memos on my phone, but sometimes I worry if other people can get a hold on them. It says "Note uploaded" sometimes, and then I worry if other people can see it.

A note-ing software needs to create an account... really? I don't know this software, didn't even care to try it, for note taking i only use ms power point...

It allows for a variety of different media formats: text, links, attachments like sound, video, & PDF. That makes it far more versatile then notepad.

The real power is ability to TAG & to create NOTEBOOK (projects). That allows the ability to 'sort' information by many different dimension (date, context-work, home, family, sport, hobby, author, projects, level of information (intro vs advanced).

Been trying this out, it seems pretty much useless if you already use Google Docs, or other collaborative software. This is a miss because it doesn't really integrate into your life, it just sort of sits there off to the side hoping you will use it.

@markrepp I used the native screen shot feature on the iPhone (hold down sleep and home buttons simultaneously), then downloaded as a .png to my computer and imported it into iMovie.
