  • lately i feel so empty like my soul is sealed and such music helps

  • when comes the violin i just dont know guys!

my soul came out of my body!!!

  • like an arrow

  • @wefadetogray to the knee ... ?

  • @MyMoonLitDreams Thank you for sharing your epiphany.

  • @ManosOceano eh I call that a outburst if my most inner thoughts but epiphany is okay too.

  • magnifique

  • Este nectuno es una marabilla escucharlo paco

  • nocturne in c#m no. 20... one of my favorite nocturnes... ^_^

  • breathtaking!

  • @MyMoonLitDreams Chopin was not "calm".

  • @ManosOceano Yes, but his "Chopin Way" made him produce utterly beautiful sounds out of a piano. His fast, agile hands made melodies, and harmonies like no other. "Hats off, gentlemen, a genius!"-Robert Schumann. That statement in every way is true about Chopin. No genius needs to be calm, he only needs to produce "otherworldly phenomenons".

  • I was used to the original version but this one is not bad at all, it's new :)

  • @diventox do you mean the Nocturne in E flat major? Yes, that is the best one...

  • @ronnelson82 close second. In my opinion. It all depends on your taste in music.

  • @ronnelson82 No I mean the nocturne in C sharp minor without violin, only piano. The one in E flat major (op.9 2) is only one of the nocturnes, but surely the most famous.

  • @diventox Thank you for your reply. I heard it when my college Professor recommended it to me so I could broaden my horizons and learn more about the Masters. I favor piano and violin solos because they go straight to my heart. I guess you could say that music picks me and I don't pick it.

  • @ronnelson82 WELL GODAMN!! i knew you were a fucking homo L-M-F-A-O

  • @WrathOfHades6661 Spoken like a true intellectual. I see your interests in MMA, body building, and blackheads are paying off.

  • @TheAtma Why thank you,its not hard u know..u could change ur life man, stop eating a tub of butter each day and sitting in 1 spot.:)

  • I am married with a specialist of Chopin (Jean MICAULT) and we are impressed by those two artists technically and moreover for the deep feeling they gave us. Chopin loved singing, and he would have appreciated. Bravo.

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • @MyMoonLitDreams Censorship begins and ends in the mind.

  • @TheAkelei Art is an expression of our circumstances; our deepest realities; and unifies our human truth: Chopin inspires.

  • @TheAkelei Art is an expression of our circumstances; our deepest realities; and unifies our human truth: Chopin inspires.

  • @TheAkelei Chopin inspires truth.

  • Beutiful

  • @baronblos9 Good Mr. President Obama is a hostage of the CIA coup d etat, committed in the dark of night, December 31st, 2011: NDAA. Mr. Obama should be impeached and guilty hijackers put on trial for treason. It's the only way to save Mr. Obama and his family and establish truth for Dr. Ron Paul to be President, without a successive coup. Serious preemptive action must be taken now, to build the foundation for Dr. Ron Paul. Truth shall prevail.

  • @ManosOceano What the heck has this comment to do with CHOPIN????

  • @ManosOceano Don't you dare comment anymore about the evilness of politics on a Chopin song. How could you bring such evil, such idiotic words to this. Music is not about Obama nor Ron Paul. This isn't the place for it. Calm down. There is no truth in what you said. Comment on how beautiful the music is, not on politics. Shame on you. This piece is far too beautiful for such nonsense!

  • Beautifully interpreted...

  • Beautiful

  • One of the best versions on You Tube, if not the best.

  • great interpretation took some tears out =)

  • good

  • is*

  • the c minor opus 48 #1 in the greatest

  • SUBED. thanks man you helped me get to sleep your the best..... all the ignorant teens now a days and their i hate classicial music. whats wrong with them, for me its not about the way it sounds but it has some sort of weird feeling and it puts my mind in a diffrent place and sooths and relaxes me and helps me learn :D

  • @lickylicky48 Thanks!!!!!

  • @lickylicky48 i hope you're not generalising all teenagers in that sentence...

  • @lickylicky48 That is not true. I was 13 when i started to listen to Classical. Now im 20 and listen only to classical music, because it talks more than anything.

  • @lickylicky48 you are right. I think that this 'I hate classical music' (even though Chopin is from the romantic era) is the result of conformity. You want to be like the others and so you try to conform your ideas with the others. This is common in teenagehood.

  • @lickylicky48 well not all teens dislike classical music! There are few who like it

  • @lickylicky48 im 17 and I BREATHE classical. Beethoven is my Immortal Beloved. There are some teens with old souls and dont you forget that. Blame the music industry for brainwashing. NOT teens. Thank you very much!

  • the movie tombstone actually brought me here! The bar scene where Doc Holliday is drunkenly playing a nocturne composed by Chopin...

  • Perfection...

  • dont really know the classical. few years back i stopped in to visit a gal i liked at her home. Dawn had some classical music on and out of shit house luck, i asked if it was chopin. she was "amazed/impressed"... LOL...should have married that gal. she moved away.

  • in this musics we can feel the emotion, the art, the autor expressing himself in form of notes! and there are people that say lady gaga is music! ugh!

  • Amazing. Very very beautiful. ;)))

  • I love this song, i played it when i was 7! Still remember that a little bit on piano

  • @solidsnakeliquidgas thank you exactly! This violin is so perfect and along with the piano, divine...

  • I love Nocturne, one of my fav's!

  • Start posting some lessons and tips for piano players please? your obviously really good and it'd be great to hear how you practice

  • Beautiful and moving. Thank you.

  • thank you..My 14 yr old "Dackel(ine)"/ dachshund recently died in my arms.

  • Why? Why did you take a piece specifically designed for the piano - as the composer used his entire creative output for that instrument - and rewrite it for violin, with piano accompanyment. Why? This piece is for the piano, Chopin was a pianist. You violinists don't have ENOUGH attention fawned on you, you have to take music from an instrument it was specifially written for with every intention - and then make that same instrument your accompanist. Makes sense. Keep it on the piano please!

  • @the81stviewer Dear music nazi,

the re-arangment of musical pieces to other instruments was seen as a form of flattery to many composers. Playing pieces in different arrangements allows for voices and emphasis to be given to sections of a piece that would otherwise be overlooked if only played with the instrument that it was originally written for.

  • I dont play this piece very often, I will play it right now

  • Much respect to Adrian Brody for perfecting this extraordinary piece to play in 'The Pianist.'

  • I don't know how many of you this will apply to, but if you enjoy drawing try doing it while listening to classical music. It's very inspiring, it seems like the mood of the music is transferred to your hand as you're drawing.

  • @TheNocturnalSunrise Or writing

  • why is it so shooort, waaah bouhouhouuuhh sniif :-(

  • It is beautiful - To jest piękne

  • He looks like Johan Cruijf te football player lolz.

  • hey karate kid with the asian chick do you guys remember hey guys right

  • @alboooozz it is nocturne in c sharp minor

  • magnificent.

  • thats the most beautiful thing ive ever heard.

  • @infekkkkt

You should listen to Debussy some time. Talk about emotional!!

  • Beautiful!

  • how do they call this violin?? it sounds so gooooooooood !!

  • @Sikalyn they call it a violin.

  • @shenkeey i know it is a violin... but there are many types, and the sounds are differents...., i'm asking about this particular one, if someone can give the me information...

  • @Sikalyn I know, but I felt like saying it.

  • I agree !

  • beautyfull.

  • love it the best

  • You're very talented ^^

  • i love it very much !!!

  • Maravillas asin no se encuentran ni en la sabiduria de la callle

  • MARAVILLOSO! hace que el alma salga de su escondite! Bellísimo!!!

  • Some songs are pleasant to listen to. Others, a rare few, are far more. Music like this has its own soul and feel to it, it stirs old memories in a person they had all but forgotten. Perhaps upon listening they remember days of joy no matter how long its been, or days of sorrow like losing someone they loved. There's just something about this kind of music

  • Amazing song. But it doesn't remind me of animals, drugs, video-games, or celebrity children.

  • Oh, I love the piano. However the strings in this gives me chills. WOW!

  • I prefer "piano only", but this is Heaven too...

    Masterpiece...

  • I listen to this whilst eating dinner in my fabulous mansion

  • I like Nocturne in Db, but this is my other favorite.

  • Oh my god i think that is the most beautiful piano/ violin piece i have ever heard.

  • For those wondering it's the Posthumous Nocturne in C minor (No. 20). Its supposed to be for piano solo though but still sounds good with violin trebble, suits the melody :)

  • CHAUD PAIN ♥

  • thks the composer above all, but the artist playing his music is more than outstanding.

  • @bitethis47 Thank you my friend

  • @mohdfigo the best of all

  • one word: beautiful

  • great, but, Can someone tell me the number of the noctturne, or its name, or wathever,???

  • what is the opus and the n. of that nocturne?

  • @thecookchef Posthumous, only this is an odd transcription for piano and violin.

  • I can't stand the violins in here. It must must be piano C#!

  • C'mon. The Op. 72 No. 1 is the best Chopin nocturne.

  • Comment removed

  • And they say perfection doesn't exist..

  • @letsskitri thanks my friend

  • @letsskitri Perfect exists in emptiness !

  • @letsskitri it really does =]

  • What is the full title of this composition? I'm in love with it and I haven't been able to find it under any other title via this forum.

  • @sambangsandmoonshine nocturne in c sharp minor opus posthumorus and it is written for solo piano

  • @sambangsandmoonshine this is Fryderyk Chopin - nokturn cis-moll (lento con gran espressione)

  • Very nice!!

  • this the great better than all of others!

  • Not the best, but I love it too :)

  • increible.........

  • lol the tags: "animals book car celebrities classic rock comedy computer crime drugs fight beating hit complication fashion WOW RS Runescape hacking health internet Iraq politics English music nature online game picture sad happy quiz religion science fiction shopping celebrity children college death" ...

  • @zepanzy Hey it might fit for WOW or Runescape. The song could be retitled "On the death of the level 7 Goblin"

  • @FewMoreYears ...................

  • this part is so awesome, with the violin is absolutely amazing

  • @adamdcFaN people have been simplifying and interpreting music since...well the dawn of music. What this person committed to this piece was, if anything, a showing of appreciation to Chopin. If you don't like it, then you know nothing of music appreciation. If Chopin could not like it, then he would be just another artist whose music I love but character I hate. Deep down, you know I'm right. If not, then your opinion is worthless to all and need not be spoken.

  • Solo string part from 2:28 to the end is incredible...

  • It's the most emotional nocturne written by Chopin. And, what's the best of it, it isn't as hard to play as the others...

  • Estupenda interpretación, felicito a mohdfigo por la calidad del audio la verdad al final de la interpretación me quedé mudo, quise dejar sentado mis felicitaciones y a la belleza y sensibilidad de este tema, gracias por compartir.

  • king of the pianuo

  • nefissssssss............

  • It's not the original, sure!

But there's something about the way it's restructured (while incredibally maintaining the piece' body and soul) which draws you hypnotized.

As if a "Hungarian gypsy" spell has been cast onto the hands and hearts that played.

    Well Done!

  • wow, very, very nice

  • @adamdcFaN why does everyone on the internet have to be an asshole? There's this thing called constructive criticism, that gets your point across without being a cunt and ruining someone's day.

  • I would appreciate it very much if somebody tells me what is this nocturne called???I wanna know this plz it's important!!!

  • What is this nocturne called?

  • @ultracute100 About a month late, but it's Nocturne No. 20 in C Sharp Minor.

  • @ultracute100 Chopin nocturne 20 c-minor

  • beautiful <3

  • @AdamdcFAN I don't see whats wrong with the piano part seriously. Sure it is not the original piano piece since it acts as an accompaniment for the violin but its very well played, with alot of emotions and great dynamics / rubato. Good job at you and the violinist.

  • @slpianoproject I agree,

  • @adamdcFaN sorry it was me.

  • @mohdfigo I cant hear anything wrong with it..

  • @mohdfigo HOW DARE YOU NOT BE CHOPIN STATUS!!! *end sarcasm*

  • @mohdfigo Why'd you do that? This piece was meant for only the piano right?

  • @mohdfigo I thought the piano work lovely. And I heard a Chopin recital in Paris.

  • @mohdfigo you need not apologize. I appreciate your performance and so would most.

  • The movie the pianist inspired me to learn the piano. On march the 28th I played this song (piano solo) to over 400 people. I played my heart out because i swore to myself as a child that one day i would be playing this. I am only fourteen. Beutiful music

  • @Jakk325 That's so wonderful Congratulations on all yr hard work. It's so sad when an individual doesn't develop their God-given talents.

  • @Jakk325 Great for you. That's awesome. I play in a metal band and I tell you, no matter what you are into, music is soul food and don't ever stop or you will be miserable.

  • @Jakk325 Hey there, I started playing piano like, one week ago, and this movie gave me the inspiration to learn how to play it. I play guitar, but hey, the sound comming from that instrument, the feeling with which you can play it, it just made me think, I should learn it. :)

Good for you, and keep playing it.

  • @phantonn24 Please learn this, the passion, the beauty.... Wow, I have no words. And it doens't matter what instrument you play, as-long as you love playing it

  • @Jakk325 Will do for sure! haha :D! Have a nice upcoming year! :)

  • @phantonn24 Happy new year! Friend (:

  • @Jakk325 Why is it always 14?

  • @RhaegarTargaryen1884 Not sure xD

  • @Jakk325 Well done! Keep playing!

  • @MrThreshold2009 thanks my friend

  • @Jakk325 How old were you? Im 19 now, and my dream is to learn the piano.... but maybe its too late :(

  • @ClaudiaCountess I was 14 when I p;ayed this peice, probably about 7 or 8 when I swore to learn it.

  • @ClaudiaCountess Look for Mickan44 in youtube. shes awesome too, and she is like 24 and learned at 21.

  • @WickedTheInsane Im gonna start to learn the piano in this month! :)

  • @ClaudiaCountess Me too!, Good luck ^^

  • It's beatiful. But i just don't like the violin, i really prefer just the piano. You know what is also a beatifull piece? Nocturne op 27 no2, from chopin. You probably heard from it i geuss

  • @LeonR1993 Your a Piano lover?

  • @PlayinFreeRealms Yes, i am. I realized i was quite talented (not to brag about it) but for instance i never had any lessons, just played from books myself, and after 2 1/2 years i play chopin. I'm not a master at it, but i can play it, and i can feel it. So yeah, piano's are just my things :) You play to?

  • @LeonR1993 That's awesome! and nope. I want to but I can't.

  • @PlayinFreeRealms If you really want it you should give it a try. Just keep practicing and when you see you learn new things its a great feeling, trust me. Just think about it
