  • awesome!!! this is great stuff. a big solute to you.

  • Can't thank you enough guys. Thanks for helping my people. Many respeect to each and everyone of you.

    Thanks

  • tigersushi, don't diminish the help of these students,a little help goes a long way with the people from all walks of life helping. You don't know how much efforts are put into such projects, so please show something factual before commenting..

  • After we left the place, some of us also 'adopted' some orphans and sponsor their school fees (lias with the NGOs in charge). We are very much concern about the long term substainability of the project.

And we are planning to send another team to carry on the works we have done over there.

We are not a perfect team, and we have constraints in finances, time, etc. But please do not just criticise our project as 'wayang' without truly understanding the process and efforts we put in.

  • furthermore, this is definitely not superficial help. We planned for the trip for 3-4 months in advance. Many of us sacrificed our studying time for the planning of the trip. And we sincerely care for the lives of the cambodian we are working for. The english lessons are not shortlived too. We planned from scratch a 6 months programme of english lessons for the orphans. And after we left the place, we arranged and paid for 3 Cambodian undergrad to carry on our english programme to the orphans.

  • to tigersushi:

I am part of the crew in Project K.

Firstly, I appreciate your concerns on whether they are able to break out of the poverty cycle.

However, I strongly disagree on your point that we are just "wayang" and "some small pathetic buildings isnt going to help them".

The buildings we repaired for them goes a long way to protect these children (single mum family) from rain and strong wind, giving them a adequate shelter for living which would be impossible in the past.

  • Ello!.. this is so superficial help. You need to get around the idea that merely giving the kids shortlived english lessons, or building some small pathetic buildings isnt going to help them break out of the poverty cycle. Wayang!!!!

  • u guys are awesome, thanks for helping those people, i cant wait to go there and help them as much as i can.once again thanks.

  • A very noble cause. Congratulations on building such a beautiful wall.

  • Hi dear I want to see all of you if was there.
