This series only aired one season because westerns went out in the 70s, and a mouse of all creatures, they can't even lift rope in real life. I sure am glad Jim Henson died before he could see this stamped over one of his greatest acheivements. (I'm not saying I don't like this, only that it's dated and noticeably illogical and had little right to replace a classic.
