It's a great director, he inspired my for made my own short (watch my channel).

It's barely his movie anyway. The studio and ridley Scott took away the film and recut it for a year testing different versions before not giving it a Wide release anyway. They really screwed him over. And the word in Hollywood about losing your film really hurt his career.

@ermarauder No not really, Ridley Scott and Brad Pitt cut the movie but they went back to the original version. Warner just requested to shorten the length of the movie. The original version was 4 hrs, which was screened only once. I hope they'd release it on dvd.

Andrew doesnt really give insightful answers. Maybe he's just shy on camera or during interviews in general. I wish they couldve spoken about the actual shooting of the film, and his collaboration with Roger Deakins. Like what look he was going for, or what type of lighting he expect from him.

everyone prefers that their work speak for them, but this interview reminds me of like, some guy from a tobacco company being grilled on the news. he really doesnt want to be there or give decent answers. seems a bit douchey

if you like this film by dominik, watch 'CHOPPER' a black comedy, very funny, very sick and Eric Bana is AWESOME in it, if yo watch the extras first you can watch the real Mark Chopper Reid and you can appreciate eric bana more because his character is so realistic

he's a fantastic director, this film is a masterpiece.

That was Eric Bana's one and only good performance. As for the movie I thought it was very well made but i just dont care for this Chopper dickhead. I'm glad Dominik made a movie I was interested in that had a decent plot, not about some weirdo murderer

I'm not quite sure I can say I have. I've honestly never seen the Assasination of Jesse James- one of my friends just gave me a link to this video because I'm a fan of Andrew's wife.

I'm not quite sure what kind of movies you like, but I recently saw The Blind Side. It's pretty good... it's based on a true story and is very inspirational.

I could not agree more with the previous comments- Dominik is among the great directors this film is exquisite! everthing about it the pace,photography,outsanding performances,dialogues I just became a fan...masterpiece!!
