I have personally experienced this type of event many, many times in a house we used to live in. Myself, my wife, children, mother-in-law and several friends all experienced shadows moving through the room they were in or past a room in the hallway when no one else was around. We heard footsteps upstairs, coming down steps, but everyone was downstairs. We saw shadows moving through the windows from outside-once with friends who promptly left. This may not be real, but it does REALLY happen.
If this is real, then this is scary, I have to admit. Good thing your camera quality sucks, because I can imagine what that would look like in HD lol.

Anyway the way this thing moved makes me think its real. The fact that he was able to catch it on video is suspect though because they seem to be really smart in avoiding being seen intentionally.

i used to see a man in my doorway when i was a child that looked exactly the same. watching this made my blood cold. i was moved around a lot as a child and saw the same figure at least 10 times in 3 different houses. once i realised i should sleep with my door closed (i was 12) i never sqaw them again. now my children tell me they see stuff in the hallway(dark man). and i can't palm it off as being kids scared of monsters like my partner does. what would u do?
Ghost shadows are definitely real. I can put that on anything that i seen one on a few ocassions at my friend's house which is around an indian burial ground. The figure we always see is a tall man with an old cowboy hat, long chin, maybe around 60-70 years old. This ghost was really tall about 6'4".

Very nice capture.. I was investigating the Old South Pittsburg Hospital this last weekend, and so far we have two photographs with shadow people in them. One where a shadow person is walking from the hallway into one of the patient rooms, and one where there are 5 (well, 4 and a half really since one of them is only half materialized) standing in the hallway. I have loads of video to still go through, so hopefully I'll have something cool on video.
Shadow ghosts, dark entities They are usually sneaky and evasive. When they are spotted it's usually out of the corner of your eye or as they are darting through a wall.

Then a few months later saw exactly this shadow "hat man" standing above me when I awoke it was leaning over me and getting ready to choke me. It had red eyes, a hat, longer coat, long fingers and an evil smile. It seems to feed off fear and never followed me. If you live where you're having this figure pray.

You were basically still in dreamstate despite waking up and being conscious of your surroundings. Youu were still in REM sleep. And not being able to move except your eyes is what happens, hence sleep PARALYSIS

its not fake i've seen simular dark shadow masses and they tend to appear in hallways, corners, especially doorways, they either peek their head out or just come out of a corner, scary shit... i wouldn't say its satanic, just lingering souls, this is very real i don't think its fake...
I used to see them all the time in this neighborhood I lived in for a long time. They would follow me down the street, then when I looked back, I could specifically see them peeking out from behind a bush or some other structure. I think they're just curious about us. I can't say if they're a spirit or a ghost or some other form of "Dark Matter" life form, but it is an interesting phenomenon that would be difficult to study unless you went to places known to house them and spent TIME there.
If there was ever a true ghost sighting, it would usually be caught accidentally. No one can ever plan it by standing right in front of them and hope for it to appear. I'm surprised when you doctored the film you didn't upgrade the quality as well.
It's highly unlikely someone would catch one of these on tape never mind the rarity of a clean sighting. =\ I see the camera moving so someone is holding it... If they saw that, I can't believe someone could be brave enough to just stand still, and tape it. I don't care who you are, if you saw that you would practically piss yourself. just because its in night vision, it doesn't mean that every subtle deviation of color (in this case, the darkness of the shadow) is immediately noticeable on a small view screen...and if the camera's being held, then the same goes for subtle movements.
I am an independent Baptist and believe if you are saved, you don't really have too much to worry about. My pastor believes that everything people claim to see is of a satanic nature. He believes that when we die, it is either heaven or hell and no getting lost along the way. As a child, I had one eerie experience. A deceased grandmother I never met materialized in front of me and dissapeared. The room went from humid to freezing cold. Never happened again. Shadow people sound creepy.

4 people who now about the masage place called in our hands in milltown in nj a guy named bob owns the place every now and then the first rooms wall would black out and would always be cold he did some deep cleansing of the place and he looked doen the hallway and noticed a black figure walk out of the 1st masage room he stared it right in the face and screamed at it to leave and it never came back
You don't have to be afraid of that, I also seen it before, usually one is black and the other one is white... but if you can see the black one, you cant see the white, but someone in you house will see the white one... try ask you kids if they see something strange...

No we moved from the house and it was the only time i saw it thank goodness but it was enough to make me still remember it til this day because of the feeling i got when i saw him...every now and again i have the same feeling that i cant move while im sleeping and i wake up just like the time i saw it but then again i dont even try forcing my eyes open cuz im not waiting to see it again im to scared hahah

@janeswurld I hate it when people think SLEEP PARALYSIS is paranormal.Ibelieve in Ghosts, shadow people etc, but what you described is sleep paralysis. You were basically still in dreamstate despite waking up and being conscious of your surroundings. Youu were still in REM sleep. And not being able to move except your eyes is what happens, hence sleep PARALYSIS

@MEareCAT well look first of all I know about sleep paralysis as it was the first explanation to enter my brain after all i did go to school ok..but of course if you open your ears and eyes to other peoples stories and explanations you'd realize they all mention seeing a same certain image during this situation...now call me crazy if you want but i dont think that sleep paralysis means that thousands of people see the same shadow man image in their sleep.

well since ive only witnessed a shadow being, and only once, and since so many others have described the same thing i have seen, i would have to agree, shadow people are the only paranormal thing that are real. As to what they are... i dont know. some say spirits who cant move on, some say demonic in nature... who can really say? but i hear more negative things than good things from those who have come in close proximty to one. the one i saw scared the shit out of me and i was at a safe distance

i was sneaking out my house early morning and i heard someone moving upstairs so i rushed into my livingroom in the dark, when my eyes ejusted to the dark, it was just starting to get light outside and as you go into the living room in my house you face the curtains, in front of the curtains, next t my sofa there was a huge black mass that resembld a human figure, i hovered for a second before running out and turning the lights on, strangely enough he was gone when i peeked round the corner.

why are shadow people always referred to as black shadows? i was closing up the house one night & went to walk into the loungeroom (the light in there was off) and as i was walking towards the doorway i saw a tall grey man walk past the doorway and turn his head toward me as he did so although i could see no face or features. I'm not completely sure what I'm looking at in this clip? Is it looped? I didn't realise there was a whole thing on line about 'shadow people'. It does describe a thing I used to see in my old flat quite often. My 'visitor' was a very tall black cloaked 'shadow' which often moved in a rapid unearthly pattern. Well you got shadow people like in this vid who are most common, and then you have "The Hat Man". He's a shadow person, but he wears a long black trench coat and an old style fedora hat. He's said to be one mean-ass bastard, and to be much more powerful than regular shadow people...Like a lieutenant that commands them or something.

I spent about five years having one of these things visit me on and off--sitting on my chest as I tried to sleep & causing "sleep paralysis", following me at night, etc. I finally challenged it and it never returned. I think they're impish, possibly mildly evil, but not very powerful. Try to put your fears to rest--if you ever see one again you can tell it to go away and it probably will.

I used to see them all the time in this neighborhood I lived in for a long time. They would follow me down the street, then when I looked back, I could specifically see them peeking out from behind a bush or some other structure. I think they're just curious about us. I can't say if they're a spirit or a ghost or some other form of "Dark Matter" life form, but it is an interesting phenomenon that would be difficult to study unless you went to places known to house them and spent TIME there.

It's highly unlikely someone would catch one of these on tape never mind the rarity of a clean sighting. =\ I see the camera moving so someone is holding it... If they saw that, I can't believe someone could be brave enough to just stand still, and tape it. I don't care who you are, if you saw that you would practically piss yourself. just because its in night vision, it doesn't mean that every subtle deviation of color (in this case, the darkness of the shadow) is immediately noticeable on a small view screen...and if the camera's being held, then the same goes for subtle movements.

I am an independent Baptist and believe if you are saved, you don't really have too much to worry about. My pastor believes that everything people claim to see is of a satanic nature. He believes that when we die, it is either heaven or hell and no getting lost along the way. As a child, I had one eerie experience. A deceased grandmother I never met materialized in front of me and dissapeared. The room went from humid to freezing cold. Never happened again. Shadow people sound creepy.
